I'd settle for Welham, very good try per game ratio and wouldn't break the bank, still an import spot left if the right person were to become available too.

With Bradford being liquidated pretty sure if we do sign Welham that he won't count on the cap as players from the Crusaders didn't when they did the same. We could do worse than look at getting Sidlow back and loan him to the new Bradford entity with an immediate recall if front row injuries/options decree we need him, still young enough to be an asset.

I'd take Jason Walton back also, cheap as chips and a cracking sqaud player who can be that extra extra centre cover if needed.

I'd bring Walton back as well. Always worked hard and I think he'd bring the right ethic that Watson wants

By all accounts Whelham has definitley signed. Good signing i guess we'll see were he ends up either outside Evalds with Jones at SR or as back up to Jones.

I think Whelham would be cover for Jones n Sau at centre and Evalds on wing with Johnson as cover for him. Still look light in centres though.

Good signing Welham if we have him, mentioned this a while back will do a job for a season or two. Try / game ratio is up there with the best in the league, also took a clean sweep at the Bradford players awards.
I'd play him at 4, with Jones in the back row and Huaraki on the bench, for me this gives us the strongest possible 17 and then also gives us options during a game if a back gets injured, Jones moving to centre.
1. Obrien 2. Carney 3. Sau 4. Welham 5. Evalds 6. Lui 7. Dobson 8. Kopzcak 9. Tomkins 10. Griffin 11. BMM 12. Jones 13. Flash 14. Brinning / Wood 15. Huaraki / Lannon 16. Mossop / Murray 17. Tasi / Krasniqi
Doesn't look too bad, with the rest of the squad and a further potential signing.

Agreed that is a strong 17, there's the added bonus of Welham not counting towards the cap. Said it yesterday I'd look at Walton again also, like Jones adds versatility for both back row and centres.
Pretty sure we'll bring in someone from overseas, a back would ideal and the squad then looks much more balanced.

Walton would be a solid squad player and would count as peanuts on the cap as he was a Salford home grown player if I recall. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

No Bradford player counts towards the cap or if they are from overseas towards the quota.
I'd look at Welham, Walton and Sidlow just to add real depth and potentially loan them back to Bradford when they reform.

Sidlow, no. you are looking backwards, he wasn't good enough when he was with us. Still not good enough. Regarding Walton, although I always liked him, as a player, he is not tall or big enough. We now have a squad from the land of the giants

It was always a shame with Walton, definitely had the heart and desire but was never really sure what his position was, always a good utility though to cover a number of positions.

Hell you must be extremely vertically challenged I honestly think Walton was under valued during his time with us, did he rip up trees no but he certainly never let us down, for me the perfect squad player.
