Patton would be a classic Watson signing. He's shown already he can bring out that hidden talent in players deemed not good enough. He's reminds me a lot of Sneyd really not a terribly exciting half but one that has shown he can organise, kick goals and has a decent kicking game. I'm sure if any coach can bring out an exciting attacking game it's watto

To be honest I think he’s better than most think - the way they asked him to play at Warrington was second fiddle behind McCarthy , Brown then Austin so just wanted him to hand the ball on and kick .

Think he'd be a great replacement for Lussick

He's a 6,7 or 1 not a 9

7, 9, possibly 13 for me Hooker needs to organise tackle have speed and work as part of the spine helping the half backs. Seems ok to me As for Sneyd, used to rate him, but I think he's part of the big problem at Hull. Last year there and the recent match v poor. No half back/ spine combination

Hes an 18 or 19 for me. No pace and little awareness.

Have to admit he's never looked anything but a squad player to me, his main attribute is his kicking which is why he'll get a gig somewhere.
With Sneyd he's good but if he couldn't kick goal for fun he'd not be a regular starter, quite 1 dimensional and lacking pace.
For me he'll end up as a bit part #9.

I think Wolves have done him a diservice TBH.
Their demands have been small and limited as well is selecting him one time and then leaving him out.
Where ever he goes it would be good to see the promise fulfilled.
I've no doubt Watto would bring him on and I hope someone does.
I think the level of coaching and developing half-backs puts both the system and coaching attitudes and personalities in a very poor light generally.
I suppose while we've got P&R we'll always have the Kevin Tamati approach to producing no decent half-backs or quality key spine players.

Olly Asthall-Bott has joined Ottawa, now that's a seriously good signing for that level. Still say he's got a top class Super League full back in him.

It's ok we can have him in a couple of years when they 'get into troubled waters' 😉

It's ok we can have him in a couple of years when they 'get into troubled waters' 😉 I reckon OAB is a player who'll get the call when a Super League team have an injury crises and never look back. I'll be honest the very notion of adding a North American team in 2021 is sheer lunacy, if the infection is still around next year will part time players want to risk heading of across the pond? I can see them locating themselves in the UK to play all games in 2021

I heard a rumour that 123 is a description of the number of angles the video ref looks at when it's a try against Saints.

Yes, I thought that too. Quinlan’s try was obviously a try at first review. Must have looked at at least 10 different angles.
