What I don't understand about GOB going to Castleford is that it says he's gone on loan, from who? Toronto don't exist any longer so how can they loan him (or anyone) out? I think Toronto as a legal entity do still exist. The contracts with the players do too. They have withdrawn from SL fixtures and have given permission for their players to find other teams for the rest of the year

Would it be worth enquiring about getting SBW in loan? Think he already lives in Monton anyway..

Is he worth the wages of two players? If he signs I fully expect to be proven wrong but it’s a big risk for a player that hasn’t looked the same since a bad injury. Inu & Welham swapped for Watkins & Costello, that would be some shrewd business IMO. Appreciate Watkins has had a bad injury but if there's anyone who can get him back on top form it's Watto. Watkins is world-class on his day and scores tries for fun. Imagine our back line next season if these signings come off. Escare Sio Watkins Sarginson Burgess/Williams

Inu is such a nice, genuine bloke. I think it is hard to argue he should have a place in the team when you see how well our three quarters are playing. But if he was selected I’d be confident he’d do a good job and bring something different to the team. I dont think anyone in our team or in most others could match some of the tries and skills he showed last year.
With the reserves being scrapped for the year and no lower tier rugby for loans or dual registration, it’s hard for those out of contract and not playing regularly to put themselves in the shop window. I’m sure he will get some game time with the way this season is planned - there will have to be rotation. I certainly hope so

Sounds like Tevita Pangai Junior is about to find himself available, and we do seem to make a good home for wayward antipodeans of late....
