Where will every SL team finish this season? It's obviously very difficult to say, but here's my thoughts:
1 Hull 2 Wigan 3 Warrington 4 St Helens 5 Leeds 6 Castleford 7 Catalans 8 Salford 9 Wakefield 10 Leigh 11 Widnes 12 Huddersfield
I think (hope?) Salford might just scrape in to the Super 8's this season, barring a shedload of injuries. We don't have as much depth as other teams so if we can keep healthy I think we can go one better than last season.
I can see Leeds doing much better this year. Last year was a one-off. Hull FC were awesome last year and can see them doing well again. Huddersfield will be bottom of the pile, and Widnes have lost Kevin Brown without getting an adequate replacement.
No real surprises in my predictions but I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks.

Think Leeds struggles this year is the start of a pattern, if you look at the NRL pretty much each yr one of the so called big guns struggles and think that will happen here and this yr I think Saints will struggle (I mean they've lost Tasi LOL).
I would kill to see Leigh finish bottom and implode in the middle 8's but doubt it will happen, we can live in hope I guess.
Think sadly Wakefield punched well above their weight last yr and might get found out this time round and do think Huddersfield looked shocking last yr and haven't really improved.
As for Salford as above with an injury free season think the top is a distinct possibility, think Carney and Sa'u will score a shedload with Dobson/Lui/Carney pulling the strings and also think Evalds will become a starting regular and if he applies himself won't be a million miles away from a World Cup squad place due to his versatility.
Wigan. Hull. Warrington. Leeds. Castleford. Catalan. St Helens. Salford. Leigh. Huddersfield. Widnes. Wakefield.

Not going to commit to any overall table, but I'd agree that one of the bigger clubs will have an off-season. I think Hudds could struggle and I think Leigh will run out of steam and finish close to the bottom. Wakey and us could be surprises or nosedivers and Widnes have got a terrible injury record already on top of not improving on their losses pre-season.

What I wouldn't fancy is the middle 8's again as Toulouse look like they are going to batter and sundry then Hull KR look to have strengthened significantly on the team that got relegated.
And avoid Toronto at all cost in the cup, they look like they would walk the Championship never mind their league and they will want to prove a point against a SL in the CC.

I'd love that!

I said the same, sadly they are going to play cup games at the little ground next to MCFC.
Toronto is an amazing place, do hope they make SL and that we are still in, tie it in with a Redwings game in Detroit and it would be the week of the year.

Go McDavid!

Although I think FC will be up there, I agree with MichiganRed that Wigan will be top of the pile. Widnes and Huddersfield seem to be weaker than last year, and like everyone else, I'd love Leigh to finish bottom, but I don't think they will.
I set myself up for a fall every year when I tell my missus that this is the year Salford start to come good. Every year I look stupid (or more stupid), but at least we haven't got KR in SL this year to beat us (yep, that drop goal in the MPG did wonders for my marriage!).
So, I reckon....
Wigan FC Warrington St Helens Leeds Castleford Catalan Salford Huddersfield Leigh Widnes Wakefield
I think we could see 2 SL teams dropping into the Championship at the end of the season. KR look a lot stronger (and they have a definite improvement coaching-wise), and have managed to offload Albert Kelly (who was brilliant 2 years ago but a passenger last season). Toulouse will also be strong.

I'm surprised to see a few people putting Wakefield at the bottom. I think they've recruited pretty well.
At this time of year, most fans of most clubs are optimistic about their team's chances. The exception to this seems to be Widnes. Their forum looks like a big ol' dixon13 convention. Understandable though. They've lost star quarterback Kevin Brown and haven't really replaced him. The player they've given the number 6 shirt to - Joe Mellor - is set to miss the first few months and there's no sign of any further recruitment. Unless they pull a rabbit out of a hat, I think they'll be the ones who finish bottom.

Here's hoping. As long as Salford are clear of the bottom four, I don't really care having said that

Im going with this and Salford just to make the 8 just.
Hull Wigan Warrington Castleford St Helens Catalan Wakefield Salford Leeds Leigh Huddersfield Widnes
So much depends on injuries to key players ..all clubs will have injuries .....Few teams struggling already even before the seasons has started in the half back position??..how refreshing and unusual for Salford to have adequate cover and competition in that position with 4 good quality players in Dobbo.. Lui,..Carney . O'Brien and even Evalds if needed so things looking positive.
