The Crisis of Rugby League's Delusion Syndrome

I'm starting this with a jaunt to Las Vegas which is a place where getting rich quick is a shared delusion of the thousands who go there. If you read the articles, and I will place one below, this is where the Wolves and Warriors have gone to make RL into a World Class event, product, brand etc etc and this is more of the TGG obsession with the States, with the U S market and world domination.

In other words it's Cortez on the road to El Dorado yet again and yet again being portrayed as some kind of breakthrough. My feeling is that Journos spend time reporting it in this way in the hope of a free trip!

In any case nothing will have been done to change things here to increase RL's media presence in qualitative or quantitative terms and in other words everything will be just the same as it was before they flew to pose next to celebrities.

For three year olds and a lot of men this is just another shiny shiny object to attract attention from the fact they don't know how to approach this.

Or they could write another Salford disaster story ....
