If I look at our choices for 2025 my starting line-up would be as follows:
Brierley (Rowls will not play anyone else there) MacDonald Masters Lafai Cross Nikorima Sneyd Hill Daves Singleton Watkins Wright Lewis
Bullock, Olmondroyd, Shorrocks, Mellor
Let's not persist with this back on the bench nonsense play three forwards and a hooker.

That's a nice position to be looking forward to .....
Personally I think four props on the bench and another at 18th man and we'll be set up for a great season.

Like that side, I’d have sangare in the bench though think he can really progress

I really like the look of this upcoming seasons squad so far. Looks a lot more balanced than previous seasons and we go into pre-season without losing too many key players which can only be a good thing. Added considerable bulk to the forwards that was needed and our backs are as good as anyone's in SL. No complaints from me at this stage that's for sure.

Although I appreciate the fact that we'll certainly have more bulk I suspect the core of the problem is the game plan of most SL clubs which is to attack 1st and 2nd receivers en masse as well as pushing the limits of lying on etc. And I'm not sure bulk alone will answer those two points. We will be able to change over middles to better effect though, but it'll still be Sneyd getting us out of trouble and out of our own half most of the time for mine!

Changes more then you think Russ, half’s always get targeted nothing new there but if you pack is on the front foot, which ours really was last year the likes of sneyd have more time with the ball. Niko could be dangerous with off loading

Niko could be dangerous with off loading I think it's you. on this occasion, that's not understanding. The top six and possibly two more are following the NRL method of cutting down options particularly on one out patterns and there are very few props that can make ground given that. So it's not the cure all it's presented as so often. More often than not the first receiver is driven backwards. This is also why our wingers were less successful this year even though this has been put down to their ability.

Yes as sneyd and the back snatched us a lot of great wins, but when we played sides with good packs like Leigh we got dominated. Clearly rowley thinks the same bringing in 3 large props
