This is poor we have a partnership with Oldham, another great young player to the pies. What are we doing about this ?? Or will we just sign players 30 plus.

Are we really moaning about next season before this season is actually finished? I know RL, and particularly SRD, fans are glass half empty types, but this is OTT. Too right I’ve seen enough players especially 33 plus aged forwards signing. Of course I want to see Hirst or Leon Ruan sign for Salford. Both are closer in reality than probably Pye in terms of being Super League ready. We need more young players in, both the lads mentioned are big units not 2nd row utility props. We’ve seen time and time again too many smaller props gets us dominated like v Leigh. |

We’ve seen time and time again too many smaller props gets us dominated like v Leigh. I agree WRD we have a supposed partnership with Oldham and miss out on their best young forward to Wigan. Whilst I am open to the benefits of Chris Hill coming in for a season, we have also wasted squad spots on Sidlow and Dixon. We need to be bold and ensure young players come to Salford, they cost very little and might progress much like Tyler did. Joe Bullock is a Wire Player next season; Lewis is a 13 to replace Partington and Wright is not a Prop. It's time to add size and power to our pack if we want to progress. |
