Very lucky to be getting another contract IMO I’d agree he’s another smaller second row. It’s pointless having a pack with no size in it. We need to mix up our options and not sign too many similar players. |

Didn’t we start with 26 last season and I think we now have ……25 + King V - Bullock
So maybe if money is tight we might expect :
Bullock or Springer or Gourdemande ( hope not) or the Saints ex 2nd team capt..….With a bit of cash…Byrne….Possibly Lafai or McDonald to go and King V to stay
But whatever it’s once again dragging out as everything seems to with the Club at this time of the year..in a pointless dull marketingless way
Where’s Marwan with his bottles of red wine and the countdown🤣

I think the big issue this year is
Lafai, Watkins, Sneyd. Singleton, Brierley, Mellor Hill etc all getting v near there sell by dates…will they be injury free?
Good signings Davies, Marsters who add value straight away and Hill…injuries?
But th3n seem to be only able to mainly afford Foster, Morgan, Connell, Lewis, Wilson …who are all perhaps v raw and not quite big 3nough
Big challenge for Rowls this year…top 6…I’ll go for Dixons 20,points next season if we don’t have another 2 or 3 really good experienced signings

Ormondroyd did have a really bad injury….needs time to get back into the top level….we’ll see this season
Salford dilemma….who do you play…somebody with all the attributes of size and experience but lacking guile, older more experienced players nearing career end and probably only ever 80% fit or youngsters with massive energy and zip but not big enough and lacking in experience…cos that looks where we’re at

Think ormondroyd was just down to his bad injury I don’t think he was 100% and you had to be for that Leigh game if he had broken down rowley would have been blamed he couldn’t win really!as far as what I’m hearing hill springer and bullock are looking like incomings at the minute!
