This Friday we will have Lafai and Partington back plus possibly Jack Olymondroyd. Not sure who Rowley picks however for me Shorrocks has to stay at 13, he offers so much more flexibility in attack plus Atkin off the bench as a 9. Likely Hankinson will miss out which is unfortunate for him.

I’d keep the same starting 13 and have Partington and Lafai on the bench instead of Borouh and Wilson. Give Jack another week of recovery time.

Three Hull KR players were charged, only one banned.

Seven Super League players have been charged following the Super League action over the weekend.
Three players from Hull KR have been charged, with Kelepi Tanginoa slapped with a Grade B Dangerous Contact charge, while Elliot Minchella has been given a Grade B Trip. Both men, however, have received just a £250 fine with no penalty notices incurred.
However, Hull KR’s James Batchelor will sit out for one match following a Grade B Dangerous Contact charge, likewise John Asiata of Leigh Leopards, who will be banned for one game after a Grade C Dangerous Contact charge.

Likely Hankinson will miss out which is unfortunate for him. Tough game this, one thing is for sure our wingers cannot jam in against this KR team, they punished Saints for that. We need to make this a contest and not offer points for free as we have done in several games. I'd keep Shorrocks at 13 and then bring in Lafai at Centre. Partington can cover any forward position bar hooker. perhaps have him at Prop. We can score point against this KR team but will not run through their forwards who have been outstanding, glad Batchelor is banned for them. |

Tough selection choices for Rowls to make after some great individual performances against Hudds.
Wilson would be unlucky to miss out, he looks a great prospect and has a pretty decent turn of foot looking at the try he scored on Saturday!

Not expected to win, so hopefully no real nerves from the lads. The following home game is far more important. As long as we play with passion I'll be happy enough.

It's a horrible little ground to play at, always disliked it and tbf they are the best team in the league for me. Burgess and hall will be a real handful, they play at real pace so it's important to slow the ruck down as much as we can and stay in the contest. We seem to start badly and either recover or ship points so it's mega important we stay in the and keep the penalties to a minimum. Going for a narrow defeat here  |
