Yes I like Hankinson at full back he played there in the wins against Warrington and St Helens and looked excellent

We got the win that didn't look likely after 10 minutes,I thought we regrouped and deservededly got the points
We get knocked down get up and come back swinging we should be all really proud of this squad of players I know I am.

We got the win that didn't look likely after 10 minutes, It did look ominous though even then I didn't get the sense SRD were playing that badly.
There was a bit of anger in the game which seemed to be about frustration.
I hope Mellor gets an MOM soon and Nikorema is quickly establishing himself and looking the business.
The number of players we have prepared to do the small stuff and trouble defences is amazing. Wakins was awesome yet again!

Not watched it back yet however I thought we were up against it with Grant and Lewis. The try from Nene was not held in the tackle, Smith disallowed it and the head shot on Lewis was a yellow. Anyhow massively impressed with the forwards 2nd half they controlled the game, also great resilience to come from behind. Nikorima looks fantastic in attack and will get better. Cross needs to improve in defence. If we can move the ball and make good contact in defence we can beat a lacklustre Saints team.

We have recruited well this season and for me Joe Mellor tops the lot.
Nikorima coming on fine. Lewis also.
Bit concerned whether Watkins & Brierley will be fit for Thursday plus Lafai could get a ban.

Well it's his job to rectify Leeds, and he can only really talk about that at present and what he has control over.
The pundits who only talk Leeds in these defeats though miss the point that two teams were playing and one was better on the day.

Brierley makes a mistake and people want him out, Hankinson makes a glaring error and people want him in,
and I'm still wondering if we're top of SL for disallowed tries, if so it would be very telling ....... it's a funny old game!

It’s been difficult for the spine this year. Ackers and Croft go, Brierley, Bouroh, Cust all been injured…Atkins stood in manfully, as did Hankinson and now Nikorima has joined.
Cust not good enough at stand off? Atkins not quite up to a full game at stand off? , Hankinson performed really well at fb… Nikorima has great potential but will take time, Brierley has missed his mate Croft.
I think Hankinson is a better defender than Brierley but Brierley with his electric speed has probably more potential in attack. I’d give Hankinson a bit of a run as Brierley looks tired and injured.
As time passes the spine will improve massively; sorting moves between th3mselves, and linking to th3 backs and forwards…but they’ll need that time. In the long run, if Brierley is able to link properly with Nikorima as he did with Croft then we’ll have a class and fully functioning spine again…until we need money or more injuries
I think Hankinson, with his versatility has been the find of the season

Two more things: Tim was in contact with the head but Miller was bending and Lafai's trajectory was low, so that'll be 12 game suspension without a doubt!, Frawley's try was the result of a bit of defensive lapse by Watkins of all people, so perhaps we'll have a get Watkins out theme now!
Oh and I do wonder why we bother turning up when there's hardly any reference to us dominating in most arears for most of the match!
