We deserve that Absolutely nothing in that game … doesn’t matter bringing in 1 or 2 players in we have no tactics no game plan no game management which sadly has been us all year long I think our luck is running out No effort from the players was the worst part

Total brainless display throughout, a few need to look at themselves, silly mistakes.

What we didn't have and to be fair we didn't have against Hull FC was a bit of pride and passion which Huddersfield had in buckets

Other teams who had a bad start to the season are now getting better and better whereas we aren’t getting any better we are still scoring very little points and trying to defend our way to victory which doesn’t always work
Sneyd kicking on 3rd tackle thank god he only did it once but shouldn’t be happening and did Wilson come on at any point in that game I don’t think he did

Terrible decision not to take the two at 2-6. Disagree. We'd had absolutely no field position all game and a try there probably kills them off. Fact is, that was a shocking performance from us against a dreadful, understrength Hudds team. We did virtually nothing right all night and some of the plays were just dumb. Hudds deserved to win but let's be honest they're utter shite. Today should have been a comfortable win tonight. Massive bounce back needed against Cas now.

Since Rowly has come in we started playing a fast flowing beautiful attacking rugby scoring tries for fun but this year we haven’t seen anything near that and it makes you wonder why what’s changed, what’s different this year and how can we change it otherwise we might not make the play offs

Didn't see the game, so can't comment too much.
Seems that we are feeling the effects of constant changes to the squad. Small squad dictates these things. Injecting new guys into the squad takes time, and we've struggled all year to match what we normally do in attack. Our free-flowing attacking style has currently dried-up and we are not quite resilient enough to grind out tough games consistently. That really is the difference between the top sides and us. I suppose it hasn't helped that we have never replaced Croft this year. Not even managed to replace him with a player that can do the basics consistently. With a bit of luck, Nikorima might settle after a few weeks, but it may take a pre-season to sort our number six woes out.
Chalk this as a game we shouldn't really be losing. Another one that got away, which is frustrating as we go and beat the likes of Saints and Wire consistently but end up dribbling rusty water down our legs against rubbish opposition.
It is, however, peak Salford...

But then I think the wins against Saints, Wire and I think actually this is as much about mentally than ability. Certainly tonight they looked emotionally drained or was it again that old abscess of over confidence thinking cos the opposition is poor, all we need to do is turn up. Think Cas away. We deserved to be beaten. We were pallid, bloodless and clueless. They need a kick up the arse. But step back. Just imagine your a St Helens rabble or a recently evicted coach who just heard his former club finally put a shift in. Boiling my baws off, pishing Stormcrowd screwing work badly and Trump. Only booze in the house is a bottle of Fire bird🤢. Things can only get better. 🫲😡🫱

Nope not had a drink all month but it’s true doesn’t matter that we’ve lost players and brought in other players our attack still hasn’t been the same as previous years it’s clearly visible that we aren’t doing the same plays as we have done it’s clear that this year despite certain players leaving something has been lost in our tactics and game plans
Honestly feels like we get a couple of tries and then defend our way to victory without even trying to get anymore tries
They has only been 2 games this year which we have scored more than 30 points only 2

Jack Smith is bent, he missed forward passes, obstructions and the sin bin was a disgrace. He then gives Hudds two pens on the bounce which changes the game.
We were shocking using Nene as a Prop. Brierley needs dropping next week for Hankinson or Connell again he did nothing and cannot be an automatic pick because Rowls loves him. Thank god we’ve got a new 6 I’d let Cust go now. Only Watkins, Mellor and Hankinson deserve recognition.
A nice summers evening wasted watching that.
