Great player. One of very few everyone liked even if he was ripping your team apart. Thoughts with his family.

I had to comment on this ... I was working in the garden and my wife came out to me so upset at this news, great man and player.
Sad news for the game. Thoughts and prayers with and for his family and loved ones.

I think Mozzer has been over to Headingley so I'm sure he's passed the best wishes of the club and the fans on.
I've not been on here for a few days but I heard about Rob Burrow from the lad on reception at the ground on Sunday as we were leaving. Just an absolute tragedy and a huge loss for the sport, his family and obviously Leeds as a club/city. Thoughts as well to Sir Kev, a true legend for everything he has done to support his mate and the MND community.π
Probably the biggest compliment I can give Rob Burrow is that for years I called him every single name under the sun when he pretty much ripped us to shreds every time we played them. But unlike pretty much any other SL scrum half I've given stick to down the years I never actually meant it with Rob!π
Brilliant player, great human being & I just hope out of all this tragedy his legacy will lead to an eventual cure for this horrible disease. RIP fella.β₯οΈ

A friend of said that when somebody passes you should try and take something from their life and enact it in yours and in that way in some form they live on
Rob Burrows last message included
Whatever your personal battle Be brave and face it Every single day is precious Donβt waste a moment
Well worth thinking about and, in my view, something positive he left for the RL Community

I read that Premiership Rugby are organising a minutes applause in the 7th minute of the final at Twickenham on Saturday in memory of Rob. Shows great respect.
