The positive was our magnificent fans last night. Same old issues, it certainly was a game too far missing 2 or 3 players and some players carrying injuries (Watkins) they looked off and a bit disinterested. Same issues on the edge defence trying to jam in and the miss tackles. Not wanting to sound like a broken record but Brierley as a defensive full back is poor. Kicks from Wire, Hudds and Leigh and the full backs not at home. Same also on breaks he’s not central in a central position. I’d rather have someone with defensive capability like Ryan there and Brierley at 6 as Atkin nor Cust have cut the mustard as our starting stand off. Last night we are well beaten but it’s a reoccurring problem our full backs defence. Also markers not being square, Kings effort on Dwyer was awful. Glad we’ve two weeks off now, at least Rowley was honest at full time. The Ref didn’t help but we just didn’t turn up.

Reached that part of the season where we have a busted team..squad as small as ours bound to happen. Hopefully 2 weeks off will help and thankfully not in Cup Semis

Yes break is a good time hopefully McDonald not to bad an injury,I do feel for rowley think if a job nearer home came up he would go because the club are just not backing him he has both hands tied behind his back ok apart from nofaluma which was a poor signing he’s got a lot right and if the powers that be can’t see that hankinson and hellewell as props last night is just wrong then we have a problem!

Hankinson put his hand up and offered to play prop because we we down on troops. It wasn’t a tactical decision by Rowley. We started with a busted squad and it got worse. No drama.

That’s my point obviously rowley wouldn’t have played him at prop!the problem is if the board can’t see how short we are and how much rowley has to put up with we have a problem as I’ve a feeling the Leeds and Huddersfield jobs will be vacant soon and rowley would snap one of them up!

A lot of people who went last night or watched on TV,have added a piece to the puzzle, some have talked about the size of the squad or injuries or other things But who actually thinks those on view last night should have done better.

Dixon they were out on their feet last night Leigh were busted early doors in the season, now we are Perhaps a joint Leigh Salford team in SL? You'd love that wouldn't you? Can you get any further up Derek's ar$e? Jesus wept.🤦♂️ I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. Some of the reaction on here is just beyond words. We'll win games, we'll lose games and we should always try and remain on an even(ish) keel as the likelihood is 7 days later things will turn around again! I'd dread to think what this forum would be like if we were sat on 7 points like Leigh. Friday night Leigh were very good, we were very poor (for a large chunk of the game) and we had a bit of rough luck with injuries and a few ref calls. But of a perfect storm sadly. It's the first "hiding" we've taken this season which ain't bad considering most on here had us down as a bottom 2/3 team before the season kicked off. The injury situation isn't great but the lads will roll their sleeves up and get stuck in as they always do. We might see a loan or 2 in the next month as well to bolster the troops.🤞

Sorry yeah I forgot about the cup game. Worst league hiding we've had then.😁 Thought I’d be pedantic 😂 Leigh was poor but that’s gonna happen with the bench we had unfortunately that’s all we can do this year hopefully a couple of props next year and we’re right

With Dennant re elected, the stadium deal should hopefully be accelerated. The sooner the better as it is clear from last Friday that this team is tired and crooked, some just not good enough.
We have a crystal pack. It sparkles if the light is right, but more often it crackles and shatters. If I can see this yet again as it was on Friday, then so can the club and our opponents.
Leigh toughened it up, the new pack was beaten and the guile of Sneyd and Lafai was suffocated. We need props. .We need a new improved contract for Rowley. Not crocked mates on the books, not penalty kings, not not even half arsed pros wallowing in the reserves.
Most of all we need to keep the positive momentum going. To do so we need resources to bring the necessary changes. So if you reading this Mayor Paul, get that deal ✅
