Eight games into a season with five wins and two poor performances is hardly having the wheels fall off. You seem easily shocked, russ. Nobody is putting the rose-tinted glasses on. Let's face it, Salford fans have aways been pessimistic and quick to point out negatives. I mustn't be reading the same posts as you, russ... I'm not shocked by losing, even twice Carnster I'm shocked by the huge drop in form. They look like a completely different side more or less everwhere except on the teamsheet.
I don't thick I ever said people had rose tinted specs or underpants Carnster.
I think I pointed out searching for blame is a bit silly but not much else.

Just got home,
Had a look at the Superleague Table
And there we stand Eight wins out of five, Same amount of points as Huddersfield,two above Leeds
eight above Leigh. Yes it was a poor performance from both sides,Some calamities on both sides (Especially
Broncos winger IIiess Macani, The match day experience was more impressive was actually better than the game.
I believe the Supporters coaches took over 6 hours to get to Wimbledon, Arriving just after two o'clock, Bet it was well worth a 440 mile 10-11 hour round trip.🤔

Supporters coaches left the D&P around 8.10-8.15 I think and then drove to the SCS to pick up fans that decided not to turn up so we probably didn't properly set off until after 8.25. We then headed down to the M6 via the A57 so probably wasted 15 mins not just jumping on the 602 at Eccles.
We had 2 stops on the way down (not sure why as not needed) & also faffed about at the other end circling around the ground as coach drivers didn't seem to know what the parking arrangements were. Driving time was probably more like 5 hours.
PS. KR - not sure why fans are so disheartened... 8 wins out of 5 is bloody impressive!😎

We were poor on Saturday in terms of our attack, London are probably one of the worst teams I have seen in Super League. The defence seemed more committed than v Cas and was solid against a poor London side. I thought Partington did well and played 80 mins, Nene looked dangerous as did Lafai. Cross was much improved 2nd half. As for King what an utter liability he is, gives a penalty away and then tip tackles are player already tackled, his stupidity deserved a red. Our edge attack still looks poor, Ryan was very quiet during the game, we are missing Sio big time on the wing. I am also a bit disappointed in Cust, looked to show promise in pre season but everything goes through Sneyd. We need more from Cust if he wants the 6 shirt.

King has to go this season he’s a waste of a quota spot Agree with this. Even by the standards of a prop he's capable of some limited decision making.... Surely there's a lump somewhere in the Championship we can trade him in for? Not sure I agree with kilop with regards to recruitment being hit and miss. Sure not every signing works but I think overall we do very well given the resources we have at our disposal - at least since we've had Blease running things. I was surprised we didn't get a more obvious response following a week off after the Cas game, but at the same time I've felt that our attack has been yet to click this season and maybe that was even more apparent on Saturday than it has been so far. Four games coming up that will all pose big questions - need to click into gear if we're to get anything over the next month. Would hope for 2 wins out of the 4 but let's see. Any sign of Singleton returning? |

Singling out individuals in one of the most dour and least effective performances by the team once again  mmmmmm! (couple of exceptions but even they were a bit hit & miss). The level of the performance was worrying at best and far more likely to be what this part of the season will look like, and hopefully not the rest of the season. |

Our right edge defence as always been poor this is how we defend people go on about missing sio but look back at tries scored and there the same as this season really jamming in leaving a big gap,so it’s not the players it’s the system employed really!

The players we can afford?well last year it was sio and burgess who were big earners who have both played at the highest level and this year we have an nrl player with 10 years experience so I would say there all following the system the coaches have employed or all of them are just not listening!
