I know most don’t stay in Perpignan itself but we did and had a cracking couple of days. Nice and quiet until the game day.

It's Sunday, so if you wish to confess Go ahead. Are you a closeted pie eater or Wolly Back, behind your posters of David Watkins/Paul Carige,Do you have signed pictures of Sean O'Loughlin or Danny Mcguire ??

I've booked 8 days in Lloret (I love a few days on the beach😎) in a nice family run hotel where I stayed last year & flights from Mcr-Girona. Last few years I've flown via Barcelona but Girona is nearer to Lloret and pretty much cuts the transfer time in half. You've also got the option of towns like Blanes or Tossa De Mar a few miles from Lloret.
Most Salford fans stay in Lloret cos it's cheap with a few taking the "posh option" to stay in Perpignan itself. No direct flights to Perp from Mcr so you then have to mess around flying from elsewhere in the UK or fly to somewhere like Beziers from Mcr and get the train across.
Hotel prices seem to have jumped a fair bit in Lloret this year and there aren't many Air BnB options but you can find a decent deal if you shop around.

Until last year, prices around Europe were quite reasonable, which was due to the after effects of Covid, 2023, which was the first year that the Great unwashedie:( Unvaccinated) were allowed to travel, it was enviable prices were going to rise ,The hotel me and 3 others booked had a exclusivity deal with a Russian travel company, So no visits to the Med for a good few years to come for those folks.

I booked 4* a couple of years ago and the hotel was amazing. Tried to rebook last year and the price had almost doubled!😱 Needless to say I found a lovely 2* Spanish hotel instead. Clean, cheap & cheerful and with lovely owners. Everyone that worked there was part of the same family, even grandad & grandma who were in their It's!😊 5 minute walk to the beach and a lovely little pool & bar to relax after a hard day's sunbathing.😁
Lloret has some lovely little bars/restaurants as well if you venture away from the main strip.

I visited the Texas Bar the first time I visited 2018, the one with the massive TV screen for 5 minutes, €5 for a piss poor pint of San Miguel, the main reason I avoid the strip.
