Unfortunately this is what happens if you sign players over 30. They all have an injury history and will usually all cop a big injury each season.
We don't seem to learn, but then again maybe it's just a beggars can't be choosers at the moment

And I know you're probably statistically likely to get injured more over 30 but you can't tar everyone with the same brush.
Steve Menzies was still going strong at 38/39 and Sir Jimmy Anderson is almost as good as ever at 41 1/2.
Mellor's injury record has been pretty minimal from what I can see online.
I'll give you Dixon & Sidlow though.😩

So the plan must be only sign players from 22 to 27 and only give them 2 year cntracts then you could avoid this interminable discussion.  |
