It's worth asking the question..Evalds signed a two year deal to play wing. They've signed Burgess to a one year deal. Burgess is a better winger so I assume after the season KR will juggle a few things so they can keep him. Moving Evalds on would solve that problem, though as you say, I don't think they'll do anything this off season as they've built an excellent squad with quality depth. Evalds, though, may not be happy with being relegated to the bench.As for wages, I imagine Budgie woild have been on twice what Evalds would have commanded, especially after two injury riddled years at Cas and little interest. Don’t matter what evalds wants he’s signed a contract and kr are looking up the league players like him add depth. The wouldn’t let him go without a fee and we can’t afford that we can’t even afford a few depth players |

Am I missing something in those articles? I don't see anything about a stag do? If that's what's he's done, and I'm assuming that people one hear have heard through the grapevine, that fair play to the club. Going on a stag do is a lot different to attending a wedding as we were first led to believe. Anyway, it looks like he'll be moving Niall Evalds out of a staring spot... I wouldn't mind him back on the wing and as FB cover. You have to assume Hill KR will start with: 1. Hiku 2. Hall 3. Opacic 4. Gildart 5. Burgess 6. May 7. Lewis Could Evalds be available? With the forwards they've also signed they could be a real threat to the 'big' clubs this year. They could be worth a cheeky £10 on winning a trophy. Apparently, one of the other people on the stag do posted photos of them all on Facebook, including Joe Burgess in a Bar or Nightclub, When you post a picture on their and tag the Bar/Nightclub they posted it on their social media sites, It wasn't till they got back to their hotel they realised and spent the following hours pleading with them to remove the photos, Even if you remove a picture from Facebook If someone has saved it or done a Screen capture and forwards that around the Chattering types of Wigan it doesn't stay a secret very long. So, is this a case of him going out for the night an turning up the next day tired and worse for wear (hardly gross misconduct), or did him pull a sicky for a weekend away with the boys? If it's the later I'd find it hard to believe he has a leg to stand on. Yet, he's appealing: "The winger posted: “I am obviously saddened on the stance taken by the Club. Why would kr release him there building a good squad and why would he want to come? Do we have money for his wages I’m not sure Well the whole point of asking a question like this is, HKR already had more backline than they needed so somebdy must be thinking they're surplus to requirements at this moment in time.
I heard they're thinking of putting Evalds on the wing and even if he's comfortable with that I don't think he'd be SRD's fullback at present.
Les Dracs have already asked the same question of their new half back.
I don't know if we have money, but if we don't we should stop wasting our time talking about signings and positions we feel weak in, on the forum as all of it would be pointless!
