According to the normally reliable Mole on Twitter he's just about to sign for the Goldcoast Titans.
Hope we get a fee for him.

If this is the case then good luck to him. Shame he got a bad injury when he did for us. The exciting thing though is that it frees-up a lot of cap and a non-fed spot. I can see Watson wanting a direct replacement in the centres/wing for him.
Kevin Naiqama anyone?

It's hard, on one hand he looks fitter than ever but otherwise can only see him being on a fortune.
Think if true we are a pure centre and utility back light minimum.

He was a bit of a bust for us and never 100% fit. It's one of those 'what if' moments as he'll probably tear it up for the Titans, but if we can get a good replacement I won't be too upset. Hopefully we have someone decent lined-up to replace him.

While I think Kevin Naiqama would rip into SL I just get the feeling his heart wouldn't be in it from his press comments about still having unfinished NRL business. His speed is exceptional though and he scores at a try every 2 games and Fiji international captain so must have something about him. Pity his brother lives down in London or that would be a draw if he was in SL up in the NW, sign em both

Probably a blessing in disguise. I was told by a member of the coaching staff, that he's like a 13 year old kid and only puts it in when he wants to

We could do worse than look at Ken Maumalo from NZ Warriors, young, huge and bags of pace.

There should be money and a quota space available so hopefully news to follow. It would be nice to hear something before Christmas but I think we may have to wait until after new year

Seems a win-win for both Parties- it didn't go well for Vidot , but to give credit he turned up on time for the preseason dropped the lager pounds & looked more like the Vidot I remember playing for St George . he didn't do a Moon - Segeyaro - Sandow ( feign homesickness - bunk off returning and complain about being hard-done-to ). He'll be closer to his family in Queensland & will probably do well , we are giving them back a much fitter Vidot than the one we inherited .
As to his replacement - this is a 'test ' for the new Watson Blease ' Post Sheens ' recruitment for overseas . Watson always had the run on English based - & championship squad signings , but Sheens had a big impact on the quality of the last crop of non fed signings .
We've a ' narrow ' squad & are especially limited on centre - threequarters, we can't afford to sign an expensive duffer.
