They couldn't run a p**s up in a brewery.

I know the Club and the Community Sub Committee are looking at innovative ways in which to expand the Fan experience on match day and grow the Fan Village. This has to be a priority making the stadium a destination. Some people claim Leigh have a great match day experience I think its ****, a pub singer from the Blackpool Circuit then a match. I'd much rather have a fan village with Street Food, Beer, Music, DJ, stuff for the kids etc.

They seem to pull in the crowds WRD tho; if they carry on they’ll be an A in a couple of years

If we get some sort of control over the stadium then utilising the grass areas outside South Stand or even at the far end of the ground near the away end is a no-brainer. It's scandalous that we don't take a penny from food & drink sales on match days. Throw in a few attractions for kids, reasonably priced booze/coffee for the adults and I'm sure we could get some local acts to showcase their talents for a small fee.

I doubt they'll make the cut through Scouting for Girls/Elvis & Robbie Williams tributes. As a "1st year back in SL" offering then I'm sure it added a few bums on seats, the novelty will soon wear off though.

I thought the Club said we’d done a deal to get 22% from hospitality…a good revenue stream?

The club say they had secured a deal, then reiterated the terms (22%) when they cited the contractors none payment as one of the reasons to invite offers on the players.
It was reputed to be £116k pa. I mentioned this before, to which JJR quipped and pondered whether they#d read the small print.
So who knows? Either it is or isn't, if or what is dependent on the stadium?
We could with money.
As for an external food "Craven Streat"(sic) thing, is there not licensing issues with the terms of the stadium?

If we could have our own fan zone that would be awesome either all the money going to the club or some percentage going
Seven brothers could help run it’s a local brewery absolutely brilliant and definitely up and coming loads of bars and stuff around and got a former player as an owner Nathan McAvoy

To be fair to the club. They've been quietly doing things right at the moment. Nobody taking the p1ss out of Salford for selling a couple of players anymore...
