Tell hyou what instead of constantly moaning and bitching why don’t YOU go and do something. It’s just boring your constant sniping at the club, have you really nothing else to do ? The sub committees are doing work behind the scenes that needs doing. There was a meeting this week why did you not go and offer help ? No it’s just easier to come on here and complain isn’t it and profess to know everything when in reality you know nothing at all. What a weird opinion😂 the whole point of a forum is to discuss things you can’t just have positive thoughts about the club all the time that would just de delusional. As you say things are happening behind the scenes but as I’ve said before to the casual fan it really doesn’t look good, we need to get ahead of the story and try and spin something to be optimistic about What I really don’t understand that if you place facts that don’t show the Club in a good light then it’s moaning or bitching. |

There's always a time and a place, but there's also the fact that you can't stand and preach on someones corner without people getting fed-up with it after a while. This isn't really a difficult concept. There's lots of valid points in your arguments but I wouldn't conflate criticism of your argument with most people bitching and moaning. They're simply fed-up of hearing it.

There's always a time and a place, but there's also the fact that you can't stand and preach on someones corner without people getting fed-up with it after a while. This isn't really a difficult concept. There's lots of valid points in your arguments but I wouldn't conflate criticism of your argument with most people bitching and moaning. They're simply fed-up of hearing it. Ignore it then it’s really not hard. Personally I don’t care I like to see all people’s thoughts and sides to the argument but if you know your going to get upset it’s in you |

Fair comment probably C, but if you bury your head in the sand and don’t face the facts that the Club apparently
- achieved only a third of its planned income from its share offer
- didn’t get its 22% from the hospitality aspect
- did raise income from increased support
Thus instead of raising its planned £1,5 - £2m in 2023 achieved probably about £0,5 m
It’s ok saying that the the RFL left the Club short by £2/300k but additionally the Club’s 2023 Plan failed
This is not having a go at anybody, merely identifying what appears to be the facts from the Business Plan…so is it not reasonable to ask what the new Plan is for 2024 and if/ how it’s achievable?

That’s all well and good, very commendable to those people but I believe as a community club we should be more transparent. |

Because in my view we have a (top heavy) Board whose job it is to debate and plan the way forward, that’s their role; once that’s in place the volunteers can got on with helping deliver the Plan if they wish.
Opinions of dozens of people who are not conversant with all the facts will not help the planning. So we await the Plan.

I try and keep threads on topic, make sure people don't get too personal, and try and encourage people to contribute in a way that encourages others to participate. The fact of the matter is, is that there's way more people use this site than contribute. So you can look at that a few ways. They are either happy just reading, put off by contributing in some way, or are a little shy coming forward. All I'm trying to do, mainly by separating threads at the moment and trying to encourage more contribution in the right areas is to encourage those lurkers to get involved in topics that wont get constantly hijacked by board/finance/personal grudges etc. Hence there own topics for those that want to scream at each other, respectfully of course. I'll back-off on this topic as I'm in danger of doing what I'm trying to discourage. I'm quite happy to let everyone have the free-for-all if that's what they really want. I don't, but I'm happy to let others decide. |

That's was the trouble with the turkey, people being ridiculed Sometimes this forum gets like the House of Commons If I overstep the mark and I have I apologized. Everyone's opinion is worthy of debate. I have generally tried not to make it personal regards the board,but I do think at times we don't hear enough from them Now I did hear from someone that the supporters trust was asked for money for the name to go on the kit.Can that be confirmed because I think that was out of order. |
