Unfortunately, I can't see the list. I'd love to see how many I went to as a child. My dad took us all over watching games..I remember watching three games in a day once. Amateur game, Salford, then Widnes v Wigan. Your dad took you to Widnes v Wigan ? Had you been naughty at the the Salford match?

😂 It was back when Widnes were a top team. Yes,obviously you must have really transgressed at the Willows, or was it the ground before the Willows if Widnes were a top side?

It would have been around 90-92. They had Offish, Davies, Hulme (both), Myler, Sorenson, Devereux, and Faimalo. A few of which ended up with us later in their careers.

Some big tough guys and class aplenty in the backline. My first season was '89 and I think most of those above were in that team. Vaguely remember us getting a few spankings off them in the early 90's until the start of their decline which must have been around 94/95?

"Leeds Rhinos poached two of Salford Red Devils best players this off-season in Andy Ackers and Brodie Croft so it’s no surprise to see Rohan Smith’s side favoured over the Red Devils.
The Rhinos are made 2/5 favourites compared to Salford’s 2/1 price, the Red Devils having also lost star winger Ken Sio on compassionate grounds."
Hardly surprising with two thirds of our old spine lining up against us!

What a pity the RFL didn't have the wisdom to play this game at Salford. Suspect there would have been a record crowd for it.

I got an email from Sky about how wonderful their sporting offerings are so I sent a reply
"All very boring without the Rugby League so try to only send emails about RL in future please, it is the only reason I subscribe to Skysports!"
Enough is ebloodynough!

"The BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards were held last night with England goalkeeper Mary Earps claiming the main award, but it was another year at the prestigious award ceremony where rugby league was snubbed." SARL
If IMG can't solve this puzzle not only are they as useless as the Bullingdob club reprobates and incompetents but they should leave the stage right now,

Don't be surprised by either the nominations or winners of the award.
I voted for Alfie Hewett who should have won based on achievements during the year. The public usually vote for the person they have heard of regardless of the achievements of the other contenders.
