Both Solomona and Charnley confirmed in the starting line up for today's European game with Saracens.

I suspect that if Cas had a strong case, they would have applied for an injunction to stop him playing.

According to this he had been sacked by Castleford. Hope there is smoke without fire or Cas are going to look like they intentionally lied to get the RL community on their side. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/38383368

Interesting news today, that French rugby union club Racing 92, are to take legal action against Johan Goosen , who has walked out on his remaining 3 year contract. Think Sale will be watching this one closely

Think Sale will be watching this one closely I read about this and it's slightly different, as it stands he hasn't registered with any other sporting club, rather he has gone back to his previous job and is earning less than a 1/4 of what he did playing Racing.

Yes, but it's breaking a contract.

Yes, but it's breaking a contract. If Racing are contesting the right to refuse a resignation in court, well, I guess they’d have no chance of success. This is perhaps why Racing are pursuing civil and criminal cases instead. The problem with the Solomona case is that, from a legal perspective, Castleford might only be able file a criminal complaint for deception. Devices such as club registrations are governed by sporting bodies, so unless the RFL and RFU agree to work together on a solution (or even the RLIF and World Rugby) i.e. giving clubs the option to uphold registrations across codes and competitions, then I think Cas might be stumped.
