Maybe we should have a thread of an SRD let downs, ne'erdowells and reprobates; we must have one for every position, surely? Start one Russ. Will be a welcome distraction, and I reckon you're right! I think we could field a team of the worst signings no problems... |

Had some interesting conversations with someone from council today the big issue still seems to be debts from previous regimes!the person I spoke to today said koucash genuinely did not put one penny in to the club and saddled it with a lot of debt,this maybe old news but that is the position we’re in,the council are genuinely worried about the buying of the ground because they feel the club just can’t keep up with paying the debts and keeping moving forward the finger is well holding the dam and I don’t think it’s long before it bursts,the council genuinely can’t believe some of these contracts that the likes of Croft Watkins Ackers have when the debt is still so big!

Amazing all the troubles today stem from Koukash who left light years ago and Blease and Rowley who pay too much..
Whose job is it to secure the finances and negotiate a future for the Club?…🤔

Raising £1m to survive off fans shares and potentially 2 player sales, ground in turmoil.with Council, just 22 players in the squad… Things don’t seem to be working…new plan needed??

The club is run lean in terms of losses. I reckon the clubs outgoings are about 3.8 mill per annum with income of 3.2 mil. The central funding has created a big hole hence Croft being sold. The stadium income, match funding and more fans in is essential for growth. This bump in the road is fixed by a player sale. RL Commercial knew for 6 months that funding would be cut, yet **** out and didn’t tell clubs until 10 days ago. Don’t buy the council having a view on wages it’s not their business. The RL Commercial have created this situation.

Yes it is the boards job to create stuff but if you have a person not spending a penny and saddling the club with debt to create his money then that will have a lasting effect and that is what has happened he left the club with over 3million pound of debt there facts simple as so blame the board as much as you want but there have been some factors they couldn’t help!yes they can do things better no doubt but it’s not great having that when you takeover!

Get into 2023 mate…this is now tedium, but r3member without him there would be no Club and he took on greater debts when he arrived, then having gone bought Hastings when we were at rock bottom

Yes it’s 2023 and it’s still affecting us!he took on the debts then just put them back against club simple,and he certainly didn’t pay for Hastings how all you koucash disciples think!anyway we will never agree so leave it there you think koucash was great and this board is rubbish I think koucash was a shister as has been proven by him going bankrupt because he had no money!

It's incredible how much angst there is on't'interweb, it's like people save it up and let it all out. It's like being in the episode of Red Dwarf where the cats destroy each other of over what colour hats to wear. 
Anyway judging by the way it was phrased by the board I think we need a sweepstake for when they'll be offering BOGOF deals on players or displaying them on Ebay.
