i hate reading about attendances. Clubs make it up as they go along. For example when we played Hull, never in a million years was there 10 thousand there. |

i hate reading about attendances. Me too! It seems to be part of a measurement cycle in order to say which teams are good or bad, top or bottom, great or poor and it's the same with assessing player performance by the RL media.
As Albert Goldthorpe says in "The First Kangaroos" "People used to turn up or they didn't!" and we might disagree but in our heads we knew who played well and nothing else mattered!
Filling column inches with drivel mostly though I'm sure there are some who love stats and can't go a week without seeing them.
