I am sorry to say I was not impressed when we signed sneyd, thought his best days long behind him and not much more than a kicking machine. How wrong was I, what a great bit of business. Fantastic player. |

The thing that bothers me is that we seem complacent in replacing Blease; he had the links, the knowledge and made us, along with coaches, a lot of money…got a few wrong but great hit rate…but effectively our survival money…that’s why Leeds got him
Hope it’s not another cost saving exercise as it’ll cost us in the long run…

Leeds got him because he wanted to go Salford wanted him to stay but once Leeds came asking he told Salford he was going what they supposed to do?!as for the future the coaches did an excellent job getting nikorima without blease so maybe they have contacts and know what there doing!

Blease put his heart and soul into Salford but I think he’d had enough and the constant fire sales must take its toll. Happy that he’s got a top job, because he probably deserves it
If Rowley gets the Blease role and Director of Rugby I’ll be more than happy…he knows the game and is respected within it…but if we do it on a piecemeal basis with enthusiastic amateurs running it we’ll eventually come unstuck. But Rowley will need to step away from the Head Coach role in order to totally run the Rugby organisation from top to bottom..and he’ll need a top role on the Board..he needs to help drive the direction of the Club because it seems to have been rudderless for too long
Rowley is the one person in the Club with total respect within the game and as such should be our leader and rugby ambassador within it

Huddersfield is planning to build its own stadium. Ken Davy must have money to burn.
