When we clicked we were untouchable , when we didn’t it was dire , we caught the knock on disease from Wakey, the table doesn’t lie, they are garbage, bunch of has beens cobbled together relying on Faffita to get them out of a hole. As for Salford people are right no atmosphere last night, it’s such a sad sight seeing two sides of the ground empty, I can’t knock the team 20 nil is a great score. Singleton and King led from the front and Ken Sio was his usual switched on best, We just need to get behind the lads for a big push. One down side, we were sat next to a foul mouthed couple of idiot Wakefield fans who needed smartening up or kicking out.

Re: the lack of atmosphere.
800 of those fans were at Hudds last week (including myself) and the atmosphere was fantastic in our end. Do we not bother when we're at home? It shouldn't matter what's being served up on the pitch, we need to do our bit to get behind the team.
Whilst it's not "The Shed" south stand has a lot of it's old incumbents and we have to do better.
Definitely something to be picked up on with the "fandom" sub-committee.

I think it’s 2 stands being empty mate that’s the big issue.

The bright white flashes and the one with the crane running across were a pain. Must have got on the players nerves. Same for both sides.

No Dixon ,the advertisements opposite the West Stand were too bright and lots of people near us were complaining about them and especially when they went all white and this must have made it difficult for the players going after the high balls. For any night matches these ground side adverts need toning down quite a lot. Perhaps this is.why Tom Grant missed a lot of what was going on?

Advertisements were weirdly bright but I agree not a lot of atmosphere at the game. Huddersfield was dead until we scored and then it picked up.
Very poor attendance obviously not helped by Wakefield but seemed low for a Friday night beginning of the bank holiday weekend. Then again I thought there was a lot more people at the stadium early for a pint than normal. Which is good for income should the club be able to receive a cut.

After betting back home this morning my thoughts on the match day. Before the game I would have taken a 20 0 win and 2 points without hesitation. Salford played well in periods and made mistakes in others. This stage of the season teams are fighting for survival or the play offs and some performances are not going to be great. We have 4 games to go in the league and its still in our hands, this alone is in my opinion is a great achievement for Salford. Hopefully we can pull it off and enjoy a great play off series, if we can get there no one will want to play us as they know if we click we can beat anyone. Also enjoyed the 1873 environment a few pints, great view. coming back for Catalans game and also bringing my brother over as well, might be the beginning of a Northern Ireland supporters club

Well it was a bit of a dour game but a win is a win. I was massively pleased with the attitude in defence for most of the game, had Wakey completed it may have been closer. My issue was our attack, we need more from Brodie, he is our Marquee and more often than not the ball goes to Syned every other play. Hopefully our attack will be better for Wigan this Friday. Glad Wire is a Sunday game, we get more fans in.
