I am hearing we've sold around 4,200 tickets for this one, we need a big crowd in tonight to lift the boys.

So 2000 season tickets, 4200 sold and say 500 walk up…~ 6700…good for a Wakey game

So 2000 season tickets, 4200 sold and say 500 walk up…~ 6700…good for a Wakey game would be very good. Let's hope the 4,200 doesn't include the 2,000 season tickets (or is the natural pessimist in me coming to the surface again?).

So 2000 season tickets, 4200 sold and say 500 walk up…~ 6700…good for a Wakey game This is comedy gold, a bit like the match tonight.😂 6700 for Wakey?!😳 I mean we were 300+ below that 4200 we apparently sold so it must've been the inclement weather that put everyone off.😁 As for the game, Christ that was hard work. Could've scored 50 if we'd managed to keep hold of the ball. But the 2 points is all that matters fortunately, I just hope points difference isn't what decides those final couple of playoff places.

Sold can be different to attendance because 'sold' includes season ticket sales but some of them may not actually turn up and so attendance is lower.
I think points difference could be huge. KR did themselves a huge favour today with a massive win. Warrington have a slightly better difference than us already so if they win they'll leapfrog us so let's hope FC do us a favour. That'll also bring them right back into the mix. Huge four weeks coming up.

Dour match but we nilled the opposition which was the most pleasing thing of the night. And we put pressure on causing lots of their mistakes
But we have to learn to be more controlled…silly passes, offside at crucial times, not trying to score off every play…good teams create even more pressure keeping opposition pinned in their own 40.
But why does the acting half pass to Sneyd who starts moving then passes to a forward stood still and we lose 10-15 m? Acting half to forward running on and gain 10m
Oh and stop the ball boys getting the ball back to the opposition so quickly😉

Well PR has been reading Maurice's posts.
'4 props at a minimum and you must stop playing Rowleyball- It's 5 drives and an up and under from Sneyd - Mauriceball'
Give me strength- last night it was dire against the weakest opposition in SL.
I got more excitement watching the Police car on the Motorway.
Pass me the pills nurse. .

I think we all need to come to terms with how we play. When it works there's nothing better, but when it doesn't it seems idiotic and amateur. I think that's the nature of the beast with this side. All I can say is that getting the points while playing poorly is something that Salford could never do in the past. So there is that I suppose...

Not a good advert for the sport. If both teams play like that in the remaining games, Wakefield will ease any nerves Castleford are feeing and we have no chance of clinging on for a playoff spot.

Yes it was a win with what we have left as a squad last night…some carrying injuries I heard
The last two matches have been about defence and survival and we survived. Wakey may be bottom but they defended really well and those big forwards threw everything at us but they never looked liked scoring. That ground has no atmosphere tho.
Positives…better discipline, resolute defence, two points and we’re still in the mix.

A win is a win and now we are at the business end I don't really care about style.
However 7 straight losses seem to have knocked the stuffing out of the crowd last night which is a shame.
We need to keep this momentum and hopefully we can make top 6. Next week will be tough, but following that we have a few more winnable games.
Love a win on a Friday as gives me a spring in my step all weekend:)

Love a win on a Friday as gives me a spring in my step all weekend:) You make some good points, kilop, but I don't see any "more winnable games". Wigan (A), Wire (H), HKR (A) and Catalans (H). I suppose the Wire game is "winnable", but we are dire at home. HKR have hit some form and are strong at home, so I don't see a W from this one. Catalans pack is so much stronger and bigger than ours that I'll just say "no comment". So, Wigan. Nah! I really hope I'm wrong, but I fear not. We've had some high points this year, so I'll try to focus on those and look forward. Sorry if I seem to be a doom monger, but that's just how I see it.

Wire have been poor for a while and Catalans last game might end up being good, hopefully they’ve secured top 2 so send there reserves
