Well we have a chance to speak to our board on Friday about recent goings on at the Owners Captains Run event starting at 9am. I’m going and keen to know:
The outcomes of the community investment in the short term.
Why Tyler was sold and what the record transfer fee will be used for?
Why the lack of player recruitment deadline this season is 4th Aug.
How cock ups with King V entering France can be avoided in the future.
It would be good to funnel questions through the supporters trust in advance.
If you’ve not registered you can do this via your owners newsletter sent by the club last week to the email used for share ownership registration.

Some people are still going on at the club and Paul King about Dupree etc on Twitter. Time to just leave it now focus on Sunday and see what the club says on Friday.

I trust PK to have done what is in the best interests of the club. I’m not seeing many fans prepared to guarantee a council loan by putting their own house down as collateral, not once but at least twice.
I suspect the new board will be playing a greater role of ensuring the club is on a firmer financial footing than before but let’s wait and see.
If this abuse continues then I’d walking away if I was PK so let’s be careful what we wish for

Well put salford1963, I am of the same opinon as yourself on this, without the likes of Paul King, Andrew Rosler, Paul Trainor and the other people who have done a hell of a lot to ensure that the club is still there for us to support, the discussion would be completely different or possibly not taking place at all.
Being an Owner+,Lottery member, SupportersTrust member,150 club member etc I am keen to see what the club says in the coming days/ weeks, but I do not want the club to spend more than it can afford.
I couldnt go to Perpignan on Sunday, some of the family did and following the scoreline on the BBC website wasnt nice, but when the 600+ Red Devils fans could sing like they did for as long as they did made me feel a lot better, and the family members who went felt the same.
I cant make the Captains run on Friday but I will await any news that comes out and will be in attendance in the usual West Stand seats with all the family on Sunday.

Members & supporters just want to know what`s happening when something out of the blue transpires and especially when there is one minute so much positivity and the next so much negativity . |

Good session this morning. Main takeaways were that Rowley knew Dupree was being sold. The club were not actively looking to offload Tyler but Wigans offer was way too good to refuse plus they are paying Singletons Wages for the rest of 2023. The Croft NRL buy clause is much more than the 78k reported. Two NRL Teams have met the valuation but Croft has turned both down staying at Salford. Nothing was mentioned of Rowley and Wire, it is paper talk. We are looking to bring in one more player today if Rowley agrees to it.
