Agree EB, but we should be buying another to fill our Quota spot, surely…even Wakey, Cas, KR bringing in new players for tg3 season to enlarge squad..having a spare Quots slot unforgivable…and assuming Croft can be a Marquee player there is space…don’t know how Rowley stands it each week
Need to help Sneyd out…I think he’s played nearly every minute of the season takes nearly all the kicks, controls the game…must be knackered…and still some have a go at him

Every minute, like all backs in SL? Controls the game... how is this exhausting, what exactly is he doing that other players don't? All he needs to do to control the game is speak and direct players and then kick into space, something he isn't doing well this season. I'm not sure how that would make him knackered - teams very rarely rest their 1-7. Just like taking all the kicks, how can that make him knackered? Look at the tackles a player like Watkins puts in plus his work rate. These are poor excuses. I don't know why you can't accept what everyone can see, and what Rowley has pointed out on several occasions this year: our last tackle plays have been poor more often than not. Players like Connor have outkicked Sneyd this season.
Should Leigh give poor Lam a rest? Maybe Hull should limit Clifford's minutes? How about Wigan giving Smith a few games off? No? All are just as ridiculous as Sneyd not playing when he's fit. He simply needs to kick better.
Also, why is having a quota spot free unforgivable? It's not like quality Aussies are queuing up to come over to the UK and we've had plenty of poor ones.

Maurice why continually pushing for loanees? You nor I know the current position on the injury front. Leave it with the experienced coach we have in Paul Rowley. If we have less than 17 fit bodies I would concur but as far as I'm aware we are OK. EB our forwards lack quality hence our results of late. Loans or a signing I am not bothered, with some of our best forwards injured we need to improve quality to push on for top 6. At best we will have Stone/Dixon/Longstaff back for Leigh - we are hugely missing an impact forward, we need quality in. As for Rowley in my opinion (besides the Ref) having Costello on the bench v Leeds and not using him might have cost us the game, Sidlow a big forward would have been a better bet, just my opinion. |

Results speak for themselves we need more go forward up the middle if you take King and Tyler out its very limited. Watkins is a huge miss at 2nd Row, we’ve lots of small forwards and have lack of go forward. We need an explosive impact player. |

Maurice `returning red` has it right. Who is available on loan better than any of our squad AND would fit in with our coaches plans? Please advise who is available. `JJR` has it right too - Our quota spot is available - but again who is available for an outright purchase. These questions need to be answered to end conjecture. |

Lawton (yes we`ve had him before) has been mentioned too - but his heart isn`t over big though his size is.
We need to start a thread for targets for 2024 including Championship players and I have always thought Edge @ Widnes, Gill @ Bulls, & even John Davies @ Fev could possibly make the step up.
