We are going to need a bigger boardroom at this rate. I wish them every success in their roles and they can help the club become self sufficient on all fronts.

It does look very good on the face of it.

Good range of skillsets and experience. Excited to see what will come out of the engagement with the various supporter/owner groups once they're set up.

Whoever they are lets hope they get those missing 1000s to turn up otherwise its another board we can blame. I think we need to recognise that Salford have never posted huge crowds consistently. Even during the most successful period in the clubs history. I think the more reasonable statement would be 'let's hope they can get a few thousand more new fans' and I don't think anyone would blame the club for trying their best. I've said it plenty of times that the club should look farther afield than just Salford. Plenty of untapped support lingering around the different boroughs of Greater Manchester.

Interesting times; hundreds of shareholders but the powers that be, remain, and still adding unelected members to the Board…but shareholders can sit on sub-committees and according to the launch..‘as shareholders it’s your responsibility to raise funds and increase the crowd’…maintains power but passing responsibility..democracy?
Wonder what the Mayors of Salford and Greater Manchester think of our non elected Community Club ( in name only, of course)?

I understand that the current board will resign en masse before the the next AGM and if they want they can reapply for election. At that point shareholders can stand for election too. The sub-committees approach is a great way of tapping into the skill set of our fan base to benefit the club so I can only see that as a positive step

He will do that role for as long as he's elected by the Community Owners, unless someone else thinks they can do a better job.

I for one am grateful that Paul King has carried on his good work. Let’s be honest it’s a thankless task where you are often criticised from one way or the other.

He is certainly criticised by one on here. But the question is why🤔 Shagged his missus?😏 I'm more than happy with the folk that have been brought onto the board. I didn't invest in the share scheme to make myself president of the club... I did it because I love the club and I fully trust the people in charge now to take us onto the next level. The CV's of the people we've brought in are excellent and offer far more to the club than I ever could with regards their skillsets, experience & knowledge. However, I still think I can add the odd bit here and there to support the club and I'll be doing that via one of the supporters groups that'll be set up. Some people need to let their egos go a little.

Exactly! I think the new people bring in a diverse skill-set that will help us begin this new venture on the right footing. For example, I spoke with Shah briefly at the Owners event and he's worked on ticketing with Fifa at the World Cup and with the RL on the most recent RL World Cup. His knowledge and contacts can only be of benefit to the club. Also, as has been stressed throughout this journey by PK, all directors will resign over the next 12-months so that new board members can be voted in. Some of the current directors plan to put themselves forward, others don't. Either way, all owners will have a chance to put their hat in the ring, not just as a board member, but as part of the sub-committees. They give fans an opportunity many people have clamoured for: a clearer voice that can be heard and a chance to make a real difference. So let's give these sub-committees a shot first before any of us knock them down. We don't know the full vision for them, but in my mind, I envision a situation where a sub-committee can work through ideas within their area of expertise, carry out research and trials where applicable, fine-tune proposals, and pass those to the board and the Managing Director as recommendations. They then look at the wider picture to identify the most realistic proposals that can be implemented for maximum gain.

I’ve requested to join the Commercial one
