Confirmed by Rowley that he is out for the season. Another player that Saints have removed from the competition.

Dirty Scouse bastards time for other teams to meet fire with fire. Cooper / Wright seasons finished and Holroyd was lucky Mata’uia didn’t snap his leg on Friday night. Horrible grubby bastards.

The RFL surely has to do something about this thuggery..even Lomax was at it against Leeds. But it isn’t even just that, it’s the continual offside at the ptb and niggly cheating that they get away with week after week. Just hope they get their comuppance

Every season Russ; last season we almost ran out of forwards and brought the likes of Hellewell in…tough sport and dirty if you play Saints

The thing that really angered me is the officiating at the Saints game. The incidents v Saints were reviewed by the Video referee and they got a talking to. No cards but trey had two players banned one for a grade E offence and Matty Lees got 2 game ban one against Halifax. Not really much of a ban for deliberately attacking the head. Three points
- Why was he not red carded in the game?
- How can that type of tackle benefit the offending team? Salford lost a man for the game (And now season) and Lees got to play out the end of the game
- Why the total inconsistency in decision making dependent upon the team doing it. Similar incident the day before on Sky which got a straight red

Leeds had 5 players injured after playing Saints, but nothing eve4 happens, McManus has too much influence
Of course now the Disciplinary Board are gifted with the task of handing out fewer and shorter bans…fines instead. So instead of players rightly missing matches thro bans, players ar3 missing matches thro ill discipline, not accounted for, and resultant injuries caused by opponents ( or should we say, Saints)

Leeds had 5 players injured after playing Saints, but nothing eve4 happens, McManus has too much influence I don't think all of those can be blamed on Saints' actions much as we'd like to.
I also blame pundits who say "He's not that sort of player!" straight afterwards.
I used to think that like Aussie Rules players should stay on the whole game and have 13 v 13 and let the disciplinary sort it afterwards, but the more I see of Saints the more I believe red cards are not used enough.

And yet on the Red Vee forum, Saints fans are adamant that their players are being hard done by and are being victimised just because they are Saints. Unbelievable.

I think they need to start letting the 18th be activated if a team has two players ruled out for the game. I think the current rule is if three players are out with head knocks... I may be wrong?
