HKR Ethan Ryan has signed a three year deal with your club from 2024. Equally good at either full back ( where he plays tomorrow versus Warrington) or wing. Fast and elusive player, only negative is he can be caught out position wise when playing on the wing. Him and Sam Wood were not offered contracts but both IMO are starters in most teams in Super League. Good luck to him, except when playing against us.

I'm really happy with this signing as we don't currently have genuine FB cover - Atkin does an excellent job but we then lose his utility rotation in the middle of the park - and he knows his way to the line. He's at the right age too. |

IF you can find on you tube the 2022 derby at the MKM, where an injury weakened HKR mullered fc you will see his fine attacking prowess playing full back in his last game in that position. He fell out of favour with Willie Peters following a couple of games on the wing early this season where his positioning allowed Charnley to score a couple of tries in Leigh's win at Craven Park.

If As Rumoured Ken Sio is leaving and returning home to Australia at the end of the Season So seems a sensible thing to do.

Lost count of the number of players over the years who have played for HKR and then ended up at Salford. Ken Sio IMO being the best, a great servant to both clubs.
