...it's up and running. www.salfordreddevils.net My first impression is that it looks and feels a bit 'cleaner', and easier to navigate than the previous website. The mobile version also appears to have been vastly improved.

Not a bad effort.
For me the real problem with the official website has been a reason to visit it. It has never offered much in the way of exclusive content. It started to go down that route last year with a few regular video updates that followed through pre-season. That all dried-up fairly quickly though.
Let's see where this one goes...

I think the problem with the old websites is that they've struggled to keep them updated. Hopefully they can keep on top of this one. The company who have designed it ( Webrevolve) say that they are offering ongoing marketing support to the club on their own website; Shame that they've slipped up already by having a picture of Tommy Lee on their site!

There's enough players and pre season training to get some content added every couple of days, have always thought that there should be some form of fans input also.
They have missed a trick already by not having some form of exclusive to launch it, images of the new merchandise, a decent interview with Blease something along those lines.

Looks good, but let's see what it brings when games are on and the season is well underway. The old one always seemed to be a little bit behind things - match reports etc. week in week out. Unfortunately, 2 clicks in and I've already found a couple of problems. On the blog site, there's only 1 entry (why migrate that page over? why not just start a blank or a coming soon?) Worse still, the link that it has in there: www.salfordreddevils.net/19-man-to-face-hull-kr/...takes you to the squad and then some funny text incorrectly describing the background. Ah well. That's just me doing some random clicks... Let's hope it'll provide some real worth across next season. (Just like this forum!!! Bows and smiles creepily... )

I didn't see Tommy Lee. Are you sure you've not got Mark Flanagan mixed up with T.L.

On the Who we've worked with page under Latest Projects, it's definitely Tommy Lee.

Noticed they do MK's Liverpool hotel too. Makes sense why they got the gig.

How about BJB, Hock, Locke, Puletua and Patterson on the home page?

New website is already failing where the old one did.
No write up about the open day. Small piece about the squad numbers but the team page simply says team to be announced soon. Not a dicky bird about the rather cool new merchandise, surely telling people it's on there wouldn't hurt.
As always Salford, nearly, just nearly.
