League Express have a story today saying Salford are set to announce a Dual Registration venture with Championship club Halifax.
saying that Watson / Carvell have retained a number of the U19's & are set to give them opportunities with the West Yorkshire club in the 1st team Squad & reserve grade .
Also mentions Salford's recruitment is not yet complete & they are still looking for a Centre / Back to bolster the squad .

That's good, always had a soft spot for Halifax.
Though I thought that Carvell was now at Hull KR with Sheens?
Was going to ask if there might be a surprise announcement at the open day this weekend? I can't be it being an overseas player unless the RFL give up dispensation for the way they made a right royal balls up of Dobson counting on the quota when he should have been exempt.

I saw him today at the ground,and I was told he is still at the club.

Watch this space then. Sounds to me like he doesn't want to answer awkward questions before any announcement is made. Unless I'm reading too much into this

Glad he is still with the club . However I'm ambivalent whether he stays for the long-term.
He took a role as player welfare officer last April, then took over the U19's & youth last season.
Before then Gleeson was in charge of the 19's before moving up to assistant coach to Watson.
