It's a really exciting time to be a fan. Breaking 300k and getting over 1,000 investors from around the world is an amazing start to this project.

322k of funding raised and we're now inside the last 24 hours. Anything more is now a bonus this has been a great first round of investment with limited media coverage on TV bar channel 4. Thank god the football season is over now.

Thank god the football season is over now. We can’t close it now, I’d say keep it open for a few months and let fans drop in investments when funds allow. I know a few that would like to top their £100 to £250 on their next pay day. |

I know a few that would like to top their £100 to £250 on their next pay day. It was always an arbitary limit as I understand it, and closing it while it's still growing seems a bit foolish.
I also think the limit was to encourage those who might procrastinate to be a bit more decisive.

Think the max you can crowd fund for ( and comply with funding rules) is 8 weeks. It's important to comply so we can then apply for the extra funding from government (£1million?).
Raising extra shares/ funds after this would be outside the crowd funding.no doubt some may want to join latter, and Hopefully some mechanism will be put in place for them to do so.

Having chatted the option of keeping the fund open, in whatever form, then the club are open to that. They’re not going to risk what’s been achieved so far but the number of fans I’ve spoken to who have the intention to invest but have just not got around to it is crazy. Today alone (at 10.30am) we’ve seen over £2k invested so who to say we won’t see more if that in a number of days time🙏🤞 |

If we can get it set up via the route that BDB suggested where the club gets to keep more of every donation without Crowdfunder fees involved than even better. My brother has said he wants to sign up. He's been to 2 Salford matches in his life (2019 GF & Hudds earlier this season) but he's fully behind fan-owned schemes and I reckon if I keep working on him I can get him to a few more games every season.🤞 |

Yea, it's very easy to keep it open via the website and I believe all owners are going to get a login for the website to access an owner's area. I've no idea what that'll contain. I've actually added this to the concept site to show one way of doing this as a joint process. Basically, a person purchases a tier of ownership and during that process an account is created and they are automatically added as an owner and granted access to the owner's area. I'm sure the club are looking at various options as they have some good plans.
I think extending the Crowdfunder for two weeks would be a good idea as we still have momentum and there are people who wish to top up - though I believe you can also do this by contacting the club in directly. Another decision is future ownership purchase. Do the club open up a window once or twice a year to allow people to purchase ownership? Or do they leave it open all year round? The good thing about future purchases is that we won't be paying Crowdfunder fees, which I think work out around 9%.

Wife tried several times today but problem with site. Insisted on name as if gifting membership. Even tried filling in the gift section to herself. Didn’t work. One new owner missed.
