The girls on Channel 4 gave us a plug on TV yesterday which was fantastic, need to hit 150k now and then kick on. We've almost hit the half way point in terms of time (22 days left) with 100k to find to get to 250k.

At the recent rate of invest we are on course for around 190k - 200k and a total of 830 - 880 investors. You typically get a bit of a boost in the closing week so that may be higher but I think we'll definitely need a few businesses on board.

Agree BDB we need business media and some announcements around business investing to create positivity. Hitting the initial 250k target is essential.

I cannot see big investors of 10k coming in sadly for just one share.
Surely in return we could surely offer life memberships to those who put in a sizeable amount. We have to give big incentives above what is being offered just now.

I agree that there should be some additional guidance around the 10k package. I said when it first came out, it's good that you can contact the club to discuss something custom, but you've got no starting point, no options, no things that are already a part of the package. There isn't anything to really give you that initial sell, other than supporting the club. For example, something super simple, why don't we have a page on the website for presidents? It could even contain everyone. At the top are the 'presidents' where you can have a logo, name or statement, they are larger blocks, say two across in desktop. Then a founders section, of names, four across on desktop, then owner+ names that are six across, then simple a comma list of everyone who is an owner. How about prior to kick-off at all home games the names of presidents scroll across the scoreboard. Or maybe we can have posters at home games in 2024 that lists presidents? Those are some super simple, starting advertising points. It'd also be nice to see a couple of examples of what you could expect/ask for. How about a meal with a few friends and a couple of players of your choice? Attendance for you and guests to a sportsman's dinner? Signed match shirt of a player of your choice? What are the boundaries and limits? |

I see the club have got a deal with Salford credit Union to allow supporters to effectively borrow the money from the CU (usually at a low rate from them) and pay back in instalments
That’s a great piece of work. Two Salford institutions working together 👏
