Whilst the likes of Saints, Wigan and the Hulls get their bumper Easter crowds to swell the coffers every other year, I was thinking that it seems a whilst since we've had a big game at home over Easter. After a bit of research, it seems I was right. 1 home Good Friday 'derby' game in 12 years, and only 3 home games against teams from this side of the pennines over Easter.
2023 - Leigh away 2022 - Warrington away, Catalans home 2021 - Hull away 2020 - no game 2019 - Warrington away, Wigan home 2018 - Catalans home, Leeds away 2017 - Leigh home, Catalans 2016 - Catalans home, Huddersfield away 2015 - Huddersfield away, Wigan home 2014 - Huddersfield home, Leeds away 2013 - Huddersfield home, Bradford away 2012 - Huddersfield away, Hull KR home
Not sure what my point is, but feel free to add your own conspiracy theories.

I've been thinking about this as well. So unfair. No excuse not to have one next year.

That makes for very poor reading. Everything about SL is geared towards the so-called bigger teams. It isn't about RL, it's about individuals.

Leigh & Warrington are our nearest neighbours , So at least we didn't have to go to Catalan over Easter, Expensive flights if there not cancelled Due to the French ATC Strikes , We played Catalan at home last Easter so we'll probably get the short straw playing in France over Easter in 2024.
