How long did it take for that last game to sink in?
How's pre-season going at this early stage?
What are you looking forward to the most this coming season?

Oiy, God's my brilliantly witty play on words get your own Did his 1st season go as well as he'd hoped? Has he enjoyed the full back role or would be prefer to be back in the halves? Has Niall helped him make the transition smooth? Following Englands shocking 4 Nations does he have international aspirations and does he qualify for any of the other WC qualified teams?

What impact has Ian Blease's appointment had on the team?
What are the team's ambitions in the League and Cup this season?
Talk us through THAT drop goal and the emotion of the dressing room after the game.
Do you think that the concept of the Middle 8's and the 'Million Pound Game' needs to be re-assessed by the RFL?

How many times out of ten would you nail that drop goal?
How has Sheens' departure changed things for the players?

Was the story that was doing the rounds regarding Sheens and drop goals at training true? Out of curiosity what was the rumour?

I believe something along the lines, hope I haven't detoured too far from the original tale.......
Sheens was spotted getting balls from the undergrowth along side the canal, when asked why he was getting them he said GOB and Dobson were in training just dinking drop goals over, when he asked why they said they go over the fence so they had to go around to get them. He told them from that moment on to boot the arse out of them and he'd go and get them. The rest is history as they say and could quite possibly have been the master of his own down fall to the Championship!

How's pre-season going?
It's been tough; been back in 2 and a half weeks and each week has been harder than the previous, lucky we have a bit of a down week next week haha... but the 2 hour wrestling sessions on a Thursday are the highlight of my week - as you can expect it's one of the strongest parts of my game! The boys are all ripping in and working hard.
What are you most looking forward to this season?
Just having that feeling of running out with my teammates and working hard for each other. We are a really tight bunch of blokes and I'm proud come game day to pull on the jersey and share the field with these boys, and hopefully make our fans proud of our efforts.
Have you enjoyed the Fullback role or do you prefer the halves?
To be honest I feel like Fullback is my position now; it was my debut season at any level in the position so it was a steep learning curve at the start of the year, but once I had settled I felt that I was contributing well to the team. I still think that I can improve on supporting breaks and anticipating opportunities, but hopefully after another pre-season I can fine-tune these skills and be ready to go come Round 1.
Talk us through THAT drop goal and the emotion of the dressing room afterwards
The drop goal was something I don't think I'll ever experience again just because of the sheer importance of it... it was all a bit of a blur after it to be honest. Obviously I ran off celebrating because I knew we would be in Super League in 2017, but I also knew what it meant to Hull KR so in that sense it wasn't a very nice feeling at the time. Seeing my dad in tears of joy is something I'll never forget and sharing a hug on the field at that moment will stay with me forever. In the changing rooms, all of the boys just couldn't believe what had happened - I lost count of the man hugs that went on but it was really special.
How many times out of 10 would you nail that drop goal?
Zero!
Was the story about Sheensy and drop goals at training true?
100% true! It was after the Warrington game where we lost by a point that we needed to practice them... me and Dobbo would try and make it so that they would just go over so that we didn't have to retrieve the balls from the back fence. Sheensy told us not to worry and to put our foot through them, so we did. Every ball sailed over the back fence in to the trees and overgrow at the back, and to his credit he went and got every ball while me and Dobbo went for lunch.

Good stuff.
Thanks as ever, Alan.
God always comes across really well, and he's proved to be a really astute signing.

I'll try and get a few other players on board for pre-season Q&As. I'll see if I can get hold of Lama Tasi on his return to the Club.
