My brother and his girlfriend are thinking of going to Catalan away. He said he priced it up and it's a small fortune. I was wondering if anybody here had any advice on hotels, trains etc that I can pass on?

Large numbers of Reds fans stay in Lloret del Mar You can either look at flights to Girona Jet2 & Ryanair or Barcelona Airport Easyjet-Jet2 -Ryanair & Vueling airlines Also Liverpool Airport Easyjet & Ryanair. If you want to stay in France (A lot more expensive than Spain there are direct flights on Ryanair from Leeds Bradford. To Perpignan You can get Airport transfers and Coach transfer to the match from Lloret with Catalan sport tours, Google them There are train services from Spain to Perpignan TGV/Talgo High speed and cheaper stopping trains. Hotels I'd check booking.com .There's loads to choose for every budget. |

Prices have gone up a fair bit this year in a lot of places (the hotel I stayed in last year has almost DOUBLED their prices!) but there are still deals to be had.
I'll be booking 9 days in Lloret and with single person supplement it'll cost me around £750 inc flights to Barcelona from Manchester. You can get airport transfers to Lloret & match day transfer to Perpignan for between £50-£60 through Catalans Sports Tours.
