Watching Paramatta v Melbourne. It's been a good game to watch so far. A lot of quality defence on show. Nice to see Hodgson playing well after his injury last year. It'll also be interesting to see how the Storm go this year having lost several forwards and with it being Bellamy's last year.
Also, it's nice to see a forward pass called after around 18 minutes. Sivo went in at the corner from a long pass that was marginally forward (I assume the touch judge called it). These are the type of passes I mentioned on another thread, they are never given as forward in SL and it drives me nuts - both long and short; they also gave a short ball from Moses forward when running sideways towards the end of the half.
We know momentum is a thing but momentum is in the direction you are running. When that's when towards the opponents line, the ball is always going to drift forward. However, when a player is running sideways, the momentum is towards the sideline, and a pass should not be drifting forward.
