Last June we signed Sean Kenny from Warrington, on a two and a half year contract. Is he still with us or has he moved on ?

Was talking to some friends of his in October and they were telling me he is still at Salford, well worth keeping in the squad for me, never going to be a world beater but didn't do a great deal wrong for someone of his age.

Still on board as far as I'm aware scoot. I haven't heard anything different. It will be interesting to see how the nine position is filled between Tomkins, Brinning and Kenny assuming he is still around. Wood also seemed to be being groomed for playing hooker as well

I thought when we originally signed Kenny the announcement was to the end of the season, where did the 2.5 years come from?

Salford Sign Kenny from WireOnly signed in July & we 'paid ' for him I had come across some talk that he'd been let go ? only 21 & only played 9 games - didn't do a bad job considering he'd been throw in to SL from the Reserves comp. however could be 3 rd choice behind Tomkins & Brinning & will have Josh Wood vying for game time as well

I still think josh wood is more SO or SH. We have his former U19 partner, wilkinson to come in at Hooker poss too. He didn't get a run out in SL but looked good at pre season friendly against Rochdale and in U19 the season before. Linked well.

I had it in my mind that we only had him to the end of the season. But I've no idea where I got that from. Looking back st the reports from when we signed him I can't see any comment on length of contract but it sounds like a longer than end of season deal from the way it's talked about. I'm happy for him to still be around. Gives us more depth

He isn't here as we only signed him when we failed to snap up Brining earlier. Tomkins will be 9 with Brining and Wood competing for the bench spot with it more likely going to Wood due to SL experience. Wilkinson is still pretty far off from making the step up due to his small frame which is what they're worried about.

On a months trial for Swinton by all accounts.

Good kid but absolutely no way better than Matty Wilkinson. His signing made absolutely no sense to me. We also only had him until the end of the season. We decided not to offer him a permanent contract.
