Living up to your monika DA - just enjoy it while you can. Bit more detail, and as someone else said, even with NRL clause it guarantees a transfer fee. Makes a change for us to be talked about in such a positive light in terms of contracts. Just enjoy it while you can, was sure someone would say putting all our eggs in one basket etc. Some people seem so negative if they can't criticise board not happy. Let's hope this is first sign of even more positive news to come. |

Fantastic news. All players have a market value so if down the line someone is willing to pay a large transfer fee then that’s life.
What is important is he sees his immediate future at Salford and the message this sends out to the RL community. Like others, I am hoping this means there’s exciting news on the horizon.

I was chatting to Bleasy when Croft came and he said that it’s always a bit of a gamble, as it was with Hastings; but of course yet another he’s brought off.
But remember it is a team game and the master stroke from Blease, for me, was probably getting Sneyd back and Rowley wanting Brierley. With Ackers an amazing spine. A spine we now need to maintain and develop further.

Yes Dixon apparently Blease was negotiating for over 4 months, nearer 6, according to reports and against most of the top SL and a few Oz clubs, brilliant.

I know I've said this before but Bleasey is an absolute legend and we're bloody lucky to have him (& PK). If we can get a little bit more investment I can see us absolutely flying with the structures/people we have in place.
In fact, that needs to be extended out to the rest of the support staff, the foundation, supporters trust, sponsors (the likes of Salmon King/Dennis who pump their hard-earned into the club).
Now if only we could just get another thousand or two through the gates to show them their efforts aren't all for nothing!🤞

Yes I don’t think Bleasy gets the credit he deserves SS, lots of inspired signings on a meagre budget, amazing really and remember who appointed him and Watson, the much maligned Marwan…then Watson brought in Rowley and Rowley brought in Haggerty; the start of a good dynasty as Rowley would say. At last a settled playing base.
Yes SS the Club needs to get the marketing and promotion right and bring funds to support these guys….Bleasy has moved on players this year, so we have an ‘overseas’ slot but no funds to buy apparently…I always wonder what Rowley and Blease would do with a normal SL budget
As an aside just read that Croft was playing a massive compliment to both Sneyd and the Rowley effect; superb team spirit. People who are really good never take credit themselves but deflect it to those in the group….Sneyd and Rowley to me are in the same league as Croft.

You really have an obsession RUB, are you related?. I was really applauding the contributions of Blease and Rowley who, in my humble opinion, do wonders and don’t get the credit they deserve. As well as agreeing on a few points made by SS, of contributions to the Club by Dennis Riley, Salmon King and the ST.
As a matter of interest, I did read an article in Total RL, presumably League Express where Paul King spoke extensively about the retention of Brodie Croft; neither Blease nor Rowley were mentioned so I assume he negotiated everything…or perhaps a point where Blease and Rowley didn’t get the credit they deserve. That’s if they did deserve any for both finding and retaining Croft or perhaps they didn’t. I’m sure you will enlighten me.

This is just getting tedious now the slagging off of Paul king,he’s clearly upset you over something!quite pathetic really Paul loves the club,loves working with blease and rowley has even said nice things in the past about both but you clearly have an agenda regarding the man,did he take your dinner money off you at school or something it’s pathetic!

Now if JJR's mention of Marwan had started WW III that would be understandable.
And what's this rumour about Paul King and dinner money? If that's his game he probably spent that on the Brodie contract.
