The club has a new website. Check it out, as I know some of you will be over excited at this fact, especially those that like updated team lists!

Yes C, they just need to update the Parking arrangements on it now, rather than a cut n paste and it’ll be useful.
The good thing about the site is that it’s there as a reference rather than the transient Twitter rubbish that’s churned endlessly generally with little point but that’s modernity; lots of it but little value😉

I still don't understand why so many people use the AJ Bell car park due to the cost and the time it takes to get away after the game. I know some people have mobility issues but I've always parked in Peel Green and walked to/from the ground. Nice 15 minute walk and once I'm back in my car I'm home in 10 minutes.👍

I either park at salford roosters - an extra 5 minutes walk but the option to get food and drink or on the road leading from the new bridge. Won’t pay £10 on principle. Of course not everyone can walk that far but for those that can…

The website is a reference point but even then after so long information, reports, pictures disappear. I personally miss having a programme, all the information in there and you can go back to it at anytime and it acts as a lasting record. I understand the logistics and costs but there are firms out there who produce them cheaply and in any quantity. Lots of non League football teams down to the NW Counties League still produce programmes this way.

The site is still full of poor errors that should easily show up in user testing. I also clicked the website for Mosaic Digital Media who made the site, based on their own site, I would never hire them. I'm not a professional but I can make better websites that don't have such simple issues. One simple example, on mobile I was at the bottom of the page and it had 'Team' with a down arrow. I clicked the down arrow and was immediately sent to the very top of the page (a long scroll). I thought that was weird so I scolled down to the bottom and the 'Team' had opened up into a menu, yet I was sent to the top of the page. On desktop, if you click on a player profile, There is a load of white space. The player name is central, but their picture, squad number and sponsor is on the left. It shoul all be central. There would still be white space but at least it would be left and right and the content would be in-line. The white space could be filled by using a carousel for the players, or adding some additional information (I know the information isn't to do with the company, that's on the job, but it's something I would have asked for, or designed around.

The website keeps stopping me from buying tickets or merch. I keep getting this message, despite not having disabled the cookies or preventing Javascript from running. I think it's just poor website construction - I don't get problems elsewhere:

It hasn't been properly user tested. There are also areas with interactivity and animation where it really isn't needed... these things add to the possibility of errors, without any real benefit, depending on how they are implemented.
