Ah. Sorry about that. First time.
I came home from that fantastic victory over Sts at the AJBell last August and applied to be a contributor on the Forum having been a watcher for many years.
It was a pleasant surprise 5 days ago to have my application approved.
So this is what I was going to say, ish. Wasn't this 2022 just about the best season for many a long year because the team was not only consistently competitive, solid on defence, but in attack thrilling us with some of the best individual and team tries I could remember. I used to come home glowing.
Does that mean anything for 2023? It does, the team has 3 younger forwards, although a couple more are surprisingly well on the wrong side of 30.
I'm really looking forward to that first game at Leigh to see whether they have been able to pick up from last year. Win or lose, if the players show the same work ethic and endeavour as 2022, we should have a season to enjoy again.

Welcome to the forum, Rammy. The big difference this year is that many pundits are predicting that we will be in the top half of the table rather than fighting relegation. I hope that they are right. If we get a good start, and the first few games are certainly winnable, then anything is possible.
