I watched the reserves train this morning and we have some real talent in that squad, particularly the Wales lads. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we see one or two move into first team reckoning sometime soon You must be psychic 😂

Well that is News…good job we’ve got this as a source of info. What is going on? Presumably all this is done to keep the crowds out How much does it cost with Sale?
I think we paid £50, 3 seasons ago

I think we paid £50, 3 seasons ago Supportive of the club as ever JJR, when it has been said several times already on here the club do not control parking (there is a cue for you to have a go about stadium/ board/ communications etc as usuall). On a positive note, look at Salford City Roosters post about free match day parking.

I realise that the Club don’t get the money 964, so take a breath mate and relax; I’m surprised at the cost…not the Club. Like you probably I have a season ticket and do support the Club, home and away
I think the issue is we find everything out at the last minute by various means…my source of info is on here…not via the Club website…thought part of IMG was relaying info. No I don’t want Twitter, thanks

As far as I can understand the club were told very late about the changes to the car parking arrangements. However, moving to ANPR is not unusual as BWFC use the same technology on match days though the cost is slightly cheaper at £8.20.
Hopefully when the stadium situation is clarified then there can be a sensible discussion about the optimum way of driving revenues through the various income streams including car parking revenue.

A great run out for all though, no matter the scoreline, our first teamers got us into a demanding 26-0 lead at HT, great experience for the younger lads in the second

I thought we looked about rusty in the first half at times but overall was very impressed with the pace we were playing at. Obviously against a lower division team but very good to see how dominant we were in defence. Some nice play between the spine players, Dixon was good til injured. Dupree very firey, not sure what that was about. Partington looked good when he came on. Longstaff was good. Looks very like Livett on the pitch!
I thought the reserves stood up pretty well for the first half hour of the second half but fell away. Only two or three first team players featured in the second half and there were none on the pitch for much of it. Walkley had a bit of a shaky debut at full back. Jack Stephems had some nice touches. But they struggled to get out of our half and a few handling errors. Not surprised that the mix of teenagers and older fellas who are mainly above average amateur open age players struggled against a semi pro team.
Not sure how much we learned really but good run out for fitness and structures for the first teamers and good test for the reserves lads

All about blowing the cobwebs out and tightening up structures at this point. As far as that's concerned it was a successful start for us.

Yes I was amazed at our level of play from the backs. Forwards obviously need to work on their timing…but defence good. Swinton hung in and although lacking a bit of size stood up well to the challenge…their 6 was the best player on the field for the last 20
As it’s a month to visiting Chester Zoo, not a bad start.

Thought the spine looked sharp yesterday which is very encouraging. My concern is the number of Props we have - Jack took a knock, Sidlow is recovering from an injury which leaves us with Gerrard/Dupree/King at Prop. Looking at the options yesterday Greenwood was at 2nd row - another option at Prop would be welcomed. Thought Bourouh looked busy and Longstaff looks a handful. The Reserves did ok, some of these lads are 6th form so a big step up. Really hope Stephens or Hughes can kick on this year and provide more options at half back.

Wright played a few games at prop last year and Rowley praising Gerrard and Partington saying they’ll be in the 13 role. But yes we had 3 fillers last year Burke, Luckely, Sita who’ve gone and Lannon injured as well. Three weeks to get Ormondroyd and Sidlow fit
Heard yesterday Sarge in dispute with the Club and Stevens wore his 23 jersey. Anybody know what’s happened?
