Find this a bit frustrating, as front of house they are “oh this is very positive”, but then away from this certain people involved who play golf at a local club tell anyone who will listen “We we will be no better off, as we still won’t have control over match day sales”. I look forward to any press conference, so we can start to get a glimpse of hopefully a steady future.

I look forward to any press conference, so we can start to get a glimpse of hopefully a steady future. That is what this needs a press conference, pretty sure that the club will be bound by the council in terms of what can and cannot be put into the public domain. For now my glass is half full, As JJR states a lot of effort has gone into the lobbying to stay at the stadium. 18 Months ago it was destination Moor Lane which was not a future only a decline. The detail is now the crucial piece of the jigsaw both for Salford RFLC and Sale around the match days. The Council have clearly thought about all outcomes with the Bids and then their decision to own the facility. It seems Salford Council are looking to invest and own assets again, not just with the stadium but also Eccles Shopping Centre which has been purchased. If it works amazing, re-investment is needed in parts of the city. For now I'm glad that we're staying put, season tickets sales are up - we just need results now on the pitch to follow this season.

I also think the MPs and people like Bill Hinds who’s on the Coscos management committee will also have played their part.. Supporters Trust, Maurice the Red, and Gerrard for his belief and effort also did amazingly well The Stadium should be seen alongside Salford Quays, RHS , University etc as an icon of the City. It’s up to the Club now to really work with the City to deliver the Community benefits on a big scale And the Mayor yes, showing great leadership qualities. Agree lots of hard work has gone on the last 9 months and the stadium has to have prestige within our city. Gerrard's curveball bid certainly helped our cause and raised the profile of the need for Salford RFLC to remain at the stadium.

It is good news that we can stay at the stadium But the club not owning the stadium means that the only stadium related income generation they can do remains ticket sales

In work, they moved the team I am into another room. Quite a few there knew me and I was introduced to the newer colleagues who didn't. It was frequently pointed out my Salfordian allegiance. "an icon of the City": every time they answered they recognised the stadium and said they were impressed by it when going over the bridge on the motorway.

I see the drinks tent has gone I beleive the catering contract is up so couldn't we start selling our own food and drink Elior’s contract is up and Heathcote’s have taken over. The tent belonged to Elior so that going was always going to happen. Everything at the moment is run by Stad Co and until the stadium ownership has been sorted then it’s the status quo until something changes
