Yes I agree inhindsight Koukash could've done a lot more for the club off the field, but I think we've learned that over the past 4 years no matter what anyone says he isn't going to change anytime soon. The longer he's at the club the longer the stability will not happen, as the saying goes "change is gud ja!"......just as long he leaves the club in a good place. But I certainly appreciate what he's done and put into the club during his reign, I think you'd be pretty ungrateful if you didn't.

You must have looked long and hard as I've not been on there for 8 months minimum. And booked? I've only ever booked a lady who charges by the hour It was a joke, relax.

I'm with russ on this one. In the grand scheme of things, these points are fairly trivial. Of course it would have been great to retain Moz at the club, but without knowing exactly what's happened behind the scenes we can only speculate on the matter until it's officially announced by the Club. I'd like to think that Koukash has learned from past mistakes now that he has a few years ownership and experience under his belt.

Scrap! Scrap! Scrap! Scrap!
But, back on topic, I'd like to add my name to the list of people who can't see what the fuss is. This is a molehill that's going to stay a molehill. It seems to me that this "ambassador" job was more a case of making a role up for him because of his standing in the sport rather than him filling some much needed gap in the club's set up. Perhaps Nigel Farage could step in instead.
As for direction, what about this: there's a photo up on the club's Twitter thing of some of the players taking a break from training. Pretty much our entire overseas contingent are on it, and it's not yet December. Gone are the days when the imports would roll up in January. Having them here for the start of preseason is a big improvement, and is the direction the club needs to be going in.

I was thinking the same as far as all of the overseas guys all being back in pre season, all you hope is that the overseas quota doesn't become a clique as has been the case in other seasons, my gut feeling is it won't as there are no disruptive types in there.
As for Morley I see him having more pull in attracting new players than Watson and Blease combined, his standing in the game is much greater. Also in terms of that same standing I'd think he would offer the club a great deal in attracting sponsors and when they have been attracted the club must surely have used him on match days when entertaining guests and sponsors.
Hope I'm wrong but do feel losing both Morley and Sheens weakens the club in a significant way.

I'm not aware of any evidence of cliqueyness in the squad. In fact, possibly the reverse. Gareth O'Brien said something about starting last season as a newbie and finishing it with a big bunch of mates. Something like that.
As for Morley, I'm much less sure of his pulling power. Having Jamie Peacock around - and in a more direct, player related role too - didn't particularly help Hull KR. I think Tim Sheens will be the bigger loss, with his coaching credentials being a more of a draw for prospective signings.
As for the match day stuff, I think the problem with Morley is that although he is a legendary figure in the game, he isn't particularly associated with the club, having only come here when his best days were long behind him. I'd be a lot happier if Salford could get itself into a position similar to Wigan, who can call on a whole bunch of players who are synonymous with club to do the boozing and schmoozing stuff. Probably a long way off though.

Mozza is a local hero and it's been brilliant to see him finish his playing career at Salford. MK has had to severely cut costs. I wish Mozza was still with us but ,just maybe,we couldn't justify his pay. It's a market. Please don't misunderstand. He's a legend,I wish he was here but our gates have been pitiful so there may have been no choice in the matter. As regards Louise,I don't know the woman but let's start her with a clean slate. I agree that if MK does exit the club he's certainly given it his best shot...... Tim Sheens,Kevin Locke and so on. This ! how could Salford justify ' a club Ambassador ' role & pay when frankly their isn't the cash for the U19's & an extended squad . it's now a luxury in an Austerity Red Devils set-up . sad but reality. As for Louise , lets at least applaud the club for looking to involve supporters , maybe the independent Fans society may get a look in . Lastly -- always set traps under molehills .. they're blind y'know...

1. Mountains start out as Molehills. 2. Would be surprised if Morley doesn't end up at Warrington myself. 1. Geologically suspect that one michigan I think mountains start as earth shattering tectonic movement but please don't quote me to my geography teacher who was a molehill expert if his moans and groans about Oldham RLFC were anything to go by! 2. That would leave me completely uninterested not quite as CBA as Charnley's silly decision but pretty close. 3. I think you're just suffering from TGG-Syndrome the symptoms of which are a pathological need to find something wrong any where and everywhere. 4. I've put up with a lot from this sites spelling difficulties but when I have to add Oldham to the dictionary I think it's time to complain. Please avoid disparaging references to the city of delights aforementioned in your responses here. 5. I see that as the close season dawns on the slow of up take on other forums that their winter blues have set in early and lots of them support clubs with a chance of silverware. I think some of them could do with following SRD or even more so York for a few seasons to give them a sense of perspective.

Think some mountains are made from Volcanic activity but then again I prefer to think of them as giant molehills! You from Oldham Russ? What's the quickest way to Oldham? Sorry old and childish but still never fails to hit the giggle button.
