Without MK we wouldn’t be having this conversation and we may not be having it in a couple of years if we move to ML.
And we’re probably having it about the on the field success of the Club because of the fact he did appoint Watson and Blease
Anyway when’s the shirt out😉

The reputation that you mention was a lot of different things mostly other clubs fans making things up and the RFL not being happy with things MK said, and although I'm really glad that we have Bleasy and Kingsy at the helm and for the steady ship they steer, I miss the excitement.
MK is like the Ghost of Christmas Past on here, each retelling of the story makes him more imaginative and less the real person with each passing year.
I do agree with you about many of those players at the time though and the difference with those we sign now, but that says far more about them than anything else.
Disagree with that massively and the fact the we were taken to court by multiple players, the kit manufacturer at the time took us to court, There were players terminating contracts, we had points deductions! We were a basket case of a club and I got one am glad those days are well behind us There were problems but it's as well to extricate unrelated stuff from each other and then come to a conclusion.
Part of the "mistakes" MK made was making an enemy of the RFL and much of what happened was a spiteful bit of returns from them.
The way he ran the club as far as debts were concerned is sadly all too normal in the business world.
You've already pointed out that many of those players were balloons and yet you use the fact they took us to court (rightly) as evidence.
You said reputation was a problem and because of RL journos, pundits and fans that was true. But alot of that was Fan rivalry at its best and poor jurnalism at its worst.
I don't really want an MK debate but there was much to be applauded and enjoy about his stint and help throughout that is ignored whenever his name comes up.
He saved the club and forgave his debt for which I for one am so grateful.
Can we move on now, please?

So Russ, about our new shirt Now JJR I've said what I think the new shirt will look like and all those I've seen so far from other clubs don't fill me with confidence either!
I hoping I'm wrong and it'll be a cracker (not a pun this) and the wife 'll put it in my stocking this Christmas. If she's feeling festive though she'll put in a photo of the short I've told her I hated.
Just before Christmas I'm moving, once again, and my nearest club side then will # Newcastle Thunder ... who knew? Have they got a decent shirt?

Newcastle Jaguars, you’ll be fine mate. And you didn't even add " .... and MK is the new owner!"

It's reprise time everyone!
Have they been released to the tune of the Who singing "The Kits are alright!" ?

Got to say I’m a little underwhelmed with both kits, but I guess you can’t please everyone. Whilst I wasn’t expecting sequins and diamanté 😀. I did think they would stretch their imagination a little more.

Decent effort is that. And the Sponsors Lettering is a lot better than last season.
