From Chief on another thread
Don’t know how to start a new thread. See Rowley nominated for coach of the year along with Peet and Woolf. Huddersfield’s supercoach must be happy about that.

Might not be popular but I think Watson is a bit unlucky to not be nominated. Big improvement in Hudds this year
I think Peat will win it but Rowley would be a very popular choice. I think it’s hard to see past the league leaders coach as COTY normally and Saints won it at a canter again but feels like their form has dipped in last month or two. Can’t see Wolf getting it this year.

Agree Watson is a very good coach.

Rohan Smith I guess had a shout too given the turnaround in Leeds season since he joined.
But the transformation at salford has been insane this year.

I think you have to look at achievement and investment
In that respect Rowley stands alone; at one stage we couldn’t even bring in loan players and Rowley never wavered. The latest rumour I’ve heard is that we’re large bucks in debt and for Rowley to achieve what he has with no financial backing after the start of the season is quite amazing. Top man.
