If it's Catalans, I will probably go. Hudds I won't. But I think we have a better chance against Hudds.

Huddersfield ! Trip to Perpignan two weeks ago led to a lethargic performance against Hull FC. We cannot afford that in any game going forward now

Out of all the teams in the play offs Huddersfield and Wigan are the two I want to play least. Think Hudds could do what we did in the play offs in 2019 and Wigan seek to have a real X factor this year on top of a very mean defence
But I don’t fear anyone and we’ve shown over the last month that we can put in some proper performances. I guess avoiding the team having to travel to France should be better. But I am meant to be at Oval watching the cricket that weekend so I’m if it was Les Cats at least I won’t have to decide between throwing my ticket miner away and watching salford in a play off game 😂

Just need to keep winning it is a habit, to mess with the team going into a play off game is in my mind stupid, we have flowing attacking Rugby ATM, lets keep it going against an injury hit Wire. After Saturdays game we go where we go, Rowley will not even worry about that until the Wire game is done.
Expecting bans also for Cats - jokers with two late hits disgraceful.

Looking at the way Catalan are playing, if we get them in France it’s going to be a war. Both Leeds hookers taken out with off the ball smacks and Mcilorum doing his usual….and the sneaky full back not even playing. We’ll need an all in response when , not if, one of our playmakers gets battered.
Pearce was tremendous for Catalan yesterday playing and leading the Oz type power game but as has been seen many times they’re big and tough but lumbering so run out of a bit of puff for periods.
Sadly a game against Catalan and maybe even Hudds will depend on the strength of the ref….Smith and after yesterday Hicks would be a disaster…Thaler good in the big matches as in our semi against Wigan, firm and fair and understands the game
But a top six to look forward to….3 wins off Old Trafford😉( and we don’t need to win against Warrington😄)

Well if it is Cats away and anyone fancies going you can get a return flight to Beziers for around £45, flying out Thu 5pm from Manchester, coming back on the Saturday at the same time. Can also get a return train from Beziers to Perpignan for around £16 and journey is just over an hour each way. No doubt those prices will jump up by the time we've played Wire so let's hope we get Hudds in the play-offs! This year I think everyone in SL thinks we have a sniff and I'm not sure that sits easy with me! PS. Can we please not sing that song about Old Trafford that was being sung at Cas.... it's tempting fate!!! |
